New/Fun Breakfast & Dessert Drinks (Cheers!)

Recommended Posts

I would usually have a couple mimosas or Bellini's every morning! I didn't notice them marketing any special mimosas but you can ask for any kind of juice to go with that you want! A local winery where I live does a mimosa flight with OJ, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. We enjoyed mixing and matching the flavors. One of my faves was OJ and champange with a splash of cranberry. I also like adding some mango to my mimosas. The Bellini's are made with peach schappes and I think I remember them having a special Birthday Bellini at the Sea Day Brunch one day that was tasty.

Also - check out the Serenity bar for some different drink options. Lots of lighter drinks - spritzers, sparkling drinks plus some good sangrias. It was a fave location of ours on the last cruise, plus it's kind of off the beaten path so it's not usually as busy as the other outside bars.

As for dessert drinks - you have to get the Tiramisu Martini. it is literally dessert in a glass! Just ask for it in a "walk-around" glass. Much easier to carry around than a martini glass filled to the brim. Unless, you're having it with dinner or seated at a bar and not going to walking around with it.

We like to get Frappuccinos in the afternoon to get that needed caffeine boost.  Most definitely grab some of the (included with Cheers) bottled drinks from the cafe to take to your cabin.  Not sure what’s available now, but there used to be bottled teas, energy drinks and, of course, bottled waters

I’m sitting here wondering why it would take you so long to drink it that you needed a walk-around glass.  LOL

Just easier not to spill...you need to sit to sip out of a martini glass

At the Shake Spot the spiked milkshakes are amazing. The Black Raspberry Truffle and the Kicked Up Island Delight are my go to drinks on any Carnival cruise.

Loved the Black Raspberry Truffle yum

Often we would go to the casino bar cause the service was quicker than at other locations. Then we would just take our drinks down to where our friends were hanging out! Or I got a drink on my way to my salon appointment on formal night. Or on our way to dinner. But yes...your point is well received and valid! LOL The tiramisu martinis don't tend to last too long in whatever glass they give it to me in!

My favorite mimosa is using Simply Peach with a frozen peach slice for garnish

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I am definitely going to try them on my next cruise!!

Follow up question: does anyone know how much your typical mixed drink (margarita, mojito, etc) costs without the Cheers! package if you substitute their standard liquor for top shelf?

Unfortunately, no. Whenever I substituted a top shelf liquor in a drink the price on the slip (zeroed out because of Cheers) it was the same as listed on the menu.
