Solarium pool is NOT a lap pool correct? (Eclipse)

I have used it as a lap pool when I’m the only one in the pool. If I try to swim laps when others are in the pool, they rudely get in my way. hahahaha.

Laps only when in the pool alone. And same as in the main pools in my opinion.

Well I only swim the backstroke so I can’t tell if someone is in my way.  😂

If you want a quiet Solarium pool it usually is empty between 5pm and about 7pm unless on a cold port cruise when it then may be family time.

There are often several older guests in the Solarium pool either swimming slowly or gently exercising or enjoying the soak and it isn’t very big so swimming laps would not be easy…Most guests who are trying to swim for exercise tend to meander up and down rather than do serious laps…

I see some websites like cruisemapper suggest the Solarium pool on Eclipse is a lap pool.  I don’t think that’s correct is it?

I did swim laps in the Retreat pool on the Beyond.  For about 5 minutes.

It's a bit short but I have seen people trying to swim laps in it!

only short laps as stated and only if there is enough space... not really  designed for laps, more for dunking and floating around...can do some water  exercises.

if you go early or late...maybe!

We had a 32 foot pool in our yard at our last house. DW and I would swim 1/2 mile regularly, about 9 strokes. I did one mile once. 165 lengths...actually did 5 extras to make up for 165 pushes off the wall.

Boring as all get out! How long is the Solarium pool?
