The non-smoking Casino... still a work in progress:

Every time we pass this, I want to sing to my husband... "You're my boy lollipop! ....... You make my heart go giddyup!"  🎶 Anyone else my age here?

Solarium Bistro Dinner:

TIP: This is a lovely, quiet space for dinner.  Unfortunately, the no longer have the sit down menu - only buffet style.  There were plenty of delicious options, so we will probably eat here many evenings this week.  Make your bookings ahead of time, as they had to turn people away when we arrived last night.  If you decide not to go, just cancel once you are on the ship.

Sorry - the signs are a bit hard to read, but hopefully you can see the food options well enough.  The only thing we did not LOVE was the lamb - a bit dry and tough.

TIP:  When it gets too sunny on your balcony, this is the BEST view and space on Oasis class ships (IMHO) - Aft on deck 5 by the jogging track.  There are comfy chairs and the only sound you hear is the wake of the ship and the occasional jogger passing by (No blasting 'music' 🤪)

For me, as a runner, it's one of the best things about oasis class. It's great not to have to be dodging waiters, loungers, strollers and all the other obstacles up on the top deck. 😁

Can you ask your cabin steward for paper copies of the Cruise Compass - or still get one somewhere on the ship? I really prefer a hard copy if I can get one. Thanks!

Yes, your cabin steward should have paper copies available. I was on the Symphony Transatlantic, and he left one each evening after I asked.

Our cabin steward left one in our room every night on last week's cruise

I heard they are supposed to do that for old people.  We will see if they consider us old, when we board next month. 😂😂

30,000 steps/day is quite a goal!  The walking track is one of the most attractive features for my wife and me on the Oasis class ships.  I wish you success in meeting and surpassing your goal!  Walk a few laps for me!

God bless!

i finish my morning workout with 20k steps and then 10k is added during the rest of the day and night just walking around the ship

I learned yesterday that “front-loading” in the morning would be very helpful… did much better today. 😁

I mentioned paper copies to our wonderful room steward in March. He replied, "No problem, I already have you on the list!" 😄
