  1. Not a ship excursion but I've used cozumelcruiseexcurions.net twice, the last time in April and was very happy with them both times for snorkeling. Believe there are other reviews in the Bahamas forum. First time we went south and second time the winds were bad south so did closer to the cruise ships but even better snorkel spots. Had less than 10 people both times - small boat. They're going to get you back on time.
  2. I've been in CS on S class and sky suites on M class. Enjoyed the space and Luminae. But the M class sky suite balconies aren't great, especially with the new furniture... have twice had what used to be called a corner Family Veranda on M class all to myself... hard to beat for balcony intensive cruise. Only M Class Retreat Sundeck and it was too hot/unshaded to want to spend time there. I wouldn't miss the butler as have only used to bring hot water in morning for my eye mask... room service does that as easily. I don't drink coffee and less than 1 alcoholic beverage a day and don't care for the afternoon snacks so didn't need butler for that. Room attendant got me nicer pillows for the Family Veranda. I'm looking forward to trying my first E class sky suite on Ascent in November. I found the number of sky suites mind boggling but I guess they've been built to handle the crowd on the Sundeck and in Luminae.
  3. So if you have booked a dinner for the night that becomes the Magic Carpet dinner night they ask which you want to cancel?
  4. The OC is open 24 hours? I've had to wait in the morning for it to open at 6 am and looking at the current Beyond sailing it opens at 6 am after closing at 1 am.
  5. So they don't usually set the date until the ship sails? Mine is currently saying 10 am embarkation day for the Edge dinner.
  6. My most recent I happily gave up $200 OBC for $120 price decrease.
  7. The pricing is dynamic.. even during the same 'sale' the price can change for a cabin category by the hour. I've repriced down more than once on the same day.
  8. I always just google to get the link. Ascent isn't in the drop down yet but I keep checking for my November cruise.
  9. I'm rebooking today. Exchanging $200 OBC for $120 in cruise fare.
  10. I've seen your posts! That's why I was considering it.
  11. My flight last week the person in front of me was playing his device without headphones... happily Southwest flight attendant told him he he to turn volume off or put headphones on.
  12. I just repriced. Solo on the Ascent Nov 26 pre-maiden-voyage in Magic Carpet forward sky suite (9192) but then the regular Sky Suite dropped cheaper in current promotion so I moved to 10123 which I had been considering as closer to stairs to go up to retreat decks. I liked the larger balcony of the MC suite but $260 cheaper for the regular Sky Suite pushed me to move/reprice.
  13. Similarly for MC sky suite 10168. Have to go through hallway door and then second door into the suite - like the aft corner family verandas on the M class ships. The sky suite 10166 has a door also into the vestibule so it can be connected through that with the MC sky suite. 10166's entrance door (to enter with key card) is the main hallway one.
  14. They connect into a private little hallway, not through a wall from one cabin into the other. So you have to go through the main hallway door into the vestibule and then from there into the MC sky suite or the inside room. Could leave the two doors of the cabins open and still have the door to the hallway shut.
  15. I believe there's a hallway door that goes to a vestibule and inside that are the doors to the magic carpet sky suite and the inside cabin. They don't have a connecting door directly from one into the other.
  16. Ah, scrapple. I just brought 3 pounds north to my family last week.
  17. Didn't feel any side to side or back and forth motion. I have felt that in an aft corner family veranda - which I've had twice solo just myself and is the type of cabin to get (when they open them late for anyone to book) if you want a great balcony and unobstructed view. Was just in one on Summit in April with mostly sea days and it was lovely.
  18. I'm sensitive to noise and it was a very quiet cabin in a great location.
  19. I was in 6116 on Millennium Nov 2021. I didn't mind the view.
