  1. it was free for me. But google free quest covid test so that you get the right link. If you just go to the regular quest site, it will tell you that a prescription is needed
  2. I had a 7:30AM appointment on Tuesday and my results were emailed Wednesday 4:11AM. That's the quickest it's been. its usually closer to 36 hours.
  3. I just got the email. But I have to complete the assessment in verifly after I upload my negative COVID results. The assessment isn’t available on the carnival site for me.
  4. I'm on the conquest sailing also and haven't received it yet either. The protocols still say it's required, so I'm sure the email and/or link on your booking will be appearing at some point.
  5. Radisson Hotel Panama Canal. Be sure to call to see if the shuttle is still available. I made my reservation a few months ago and things change. But it’s right there by the port, so even a taxi will be cheap.
  6. I've had deviations in the past and had them leave the transfer on since my plan was to return to the airport for the transfer. I would call back and speak to someone else. By the way, my transfer was $100 until I requested a deviation on my March 2023 Panama Canal cruise. It's now $50. I was fine with them removing the transfer to the port since my hotel is close to the port and provides a shuttle.
  7. You could also just pop up on a deck real quick. I really enjoy those early morning wanderings, watching the sun rise. I found a few places on the ship that I wasn't able to locate during the day when it's crowded. Some spots are so easy to just walk by when it's more crowded.
  8. The happy hours are listed on the hub ap. When you look for places to drink, any happy hours will be noted in the bar listed.
  9. could the convertible bunk be a trundle that pulls from beneath the sofa?
  10. it does work. It's best for lightly wrinkled items though. I iron my items before I pack them. The wrinkle release gets the suitcase wrinkles out. Even on VERY wrinkled items, like if I hypothetically just threw clothes in my suitcase straight from the dryer without folding or anything, it will make those items look halfway decent. The smoothing process just takes longer.
  11. There shouldn't be any reason to call. The solo discount isn't necessarily offered for all cabin types. You have to make sure your date and cabin type has that solo discount symbol.
  12. @Sthrngary Can you provide a link to your premium plus post?
  13. What city is the flight leaving from? Maybe NCL determined that a noon flight was cutting it too close.
  14. When I sailed to Bermuda in September, we left a day early because a storm was coming. Just a regular storm, not anything like a hurricane. The captain explained that the we needed to leave early because the way the currents and reefs that surround the island are, the ship could actually could be unable to leave if the winds kicked up enough.
  15. I think your picture pops up on the scanner when your card is scanned.
  16. I just cruised the beginning of the month. My cabin mate got sick the night before she was to fly out and decided not to travel. At check in I told them she missed her flight. I wasn’t charged anything extra. I only book early saver. I received her portion of the port fees and taxes and prepaid gratuities as OBC.
  17. Some argue that going on a cruise now indicates a lack of common sense. Outside of mandates/requirements, people are free to determine what level of risk they are comfortable with. But I'm not hearing COVID stories from people who were on packed elevators. Most of the stories I'm reading are from people who seemed to make every attempt possible to stay away from those perceived riskier situations.
  18. Yes. Quite a few of the Baltic sailings were cancelled and these are the redeployed iteneraries. I think they were published around 4/1 or so. I'm booked on the 9/3 sailing and did get triple points for that.
  19. In my upcoming B2B, I’m literally moving across the hall from 116 to 117. I still keep checking to see if either room becomes available. Having the same room is so freakin convenient!
  20. Exactly. Nowhere in the NCL terms and conditions that I’ve read does it make any promise to get you to the cruise if your flight is cancelled/delayed. They don’t even promise to get you on another flight. They tell *you* to talk to the airline to make alternate arrangements. Another cruise line does say they will get you to the next port to join the cruise is you miss the ship when you book flights through them. I book NCL flights because they are significantly cheaper than what I can get on my own. And buy trip insurance.
  21. Where does NCL promise to get you on the ship?
  22. When you got fly2fun, you selected and purchased the specific flight. Once you have that initial email with your locator number, you can look at the airline website to see if your tickets have actually been purchased yet as opposed to showing as pending. Any changes to the flight can be seen on the airline website and you can also sign up to receive email/text notifications.
  23. Hi all I’m on my way to my cruise and my cabin mate won’t be going. Will their fees/gratuities/etc be refunded to the form of payment or show as OBC? thanks
