Stateroom access thing is not new, it was on my boarding pass on my previous cruise a few weeks ago
The boarding zone is useless because they never use that in the terminal at all. At the terminal there is a priority line and that is what you use to board the ship.
on the cabin tv and the big screen by the pool will be the muster/zone they are calling and they will put in a message that says last call. in the various lounges like the theater they will make announcement there . they will be no ship wide announcement
on disembarkation day they have a makeshift cashier desk near the gangway to cash out your account. saving you the trip from going to guest services and that line is much shorter and quicker
if you have tsa precheck, global entry or anything else with a known traveler number then you will need the full legal first middle last name for the airline you are flying on
eventfully it will be fleet wide for one service a day and cruise lines is doing it due to both cost saving and staff shortage. cruise lines wants to reduce the number of crew onboard the ship
how does this work if other peopled booked the same room and its already been like 2-3 sailings since incident took place? any evidence might of been long gone since the stewards have to turn over the rooms on turnaround day
