  1. Have you had to change rooms on each leg? Glad you got another comfy bed on this last leg.
  2. I sailed with a friend recently who had a rented scooter. In the dining room, she rode the scooter to our table and the dining room staff took the scooter to a nearby area for storage and brought it back after the meal. In the theater, she rode it in and sat in one of the designated wheelchair spaces in the theater. I have never seen a designated parking area for scooters. She had an accessible stateroom so her scooter fit into her room. Scooters are not allowed to be parked in the hallways, so try to get an accessible room when you book.
  3. Whenever I have had B2B cruises they were considered in total, so two 7 day cruises got me $250. I just got approval 3 days ago for January B2B and I sent in the request on 9/9, so it took 4 weeks.
  4. Carnival doesn’t give military OBC in the US. Occasionally there are special rates for military, but not often at all. Those rates may include OBC, but other than that, no OBC offered.
  5. My most recent request took 4 weeks. I use email to make the request. I have tried faxing in the past but about half the time the faxes weren’t received and I wasn’t aware of that. When email is used, there is an immediate email response to let you know your request has been received.
  6. When I was on the Splendor to Alaska in August the youngest diamond member was 10 years old!
  7. It up now. I was just able to log in.
  8. Yes, I’m having the same issue and have messaged several friends who are also having the same problem. It’s not just you.
  9. I hope OP comes back to let us know what happens.
  10. I’m sorry this happened to you. As mentioned by mz-s, you won’t be able to sail without your original driver’s license. A very clear picture of it won’t suffice. You’re unlikely to get a refund except taxes/port charges, and any other prepaid items like prepaid tips, shore excursions, cheers, etc.
  11. I’m having the same problem. None of my reservations are showing, and when I try to add them in, it says there’s no such booking number. I’ll try again in the morning too.
  12. My initial no was from my PVP. I escalated it to a manager and the answer was still no. Then I escalated it to the chairman’s office and they also said no. They said they do not allow what they call “downline debarkation” on a pre-arranged basis, but acknowledge that some people may need to depart early because of an emergency, missing the ship, or other types of unforeseen situations.
  13. Carnival stopped allowing this several years ago. I tried to arrange for early debarkation on a European cruise in 2018 and was turned down flat. I escalated it and the answer was an absolute no.
  14. Guest Services had Platinum, Diamond and Suite Guests listed. Faster to the Fun wasn’t listed.
  15. On my last three cruises, in May, July and August, on the Pride and Splendor, suites were included in the priority line. The sign at the priority line indicated Platinum, Diamond and Suite guests.
  16. Suites, platinums and diamonds are all in the priority line at Guest Services. Yes, the first day usually has long lines.
  17. I sure wish the Fun Squad could do something to prevent that. It’s not fair to the people honestly trying their best to answer the questions.
  18. On the Pride TA they told us the supplier went out of business during the pandemic and they don’t have a new supplier. Same on the Splendor over the summer. They had a very few SOAS’s that the cruise director gave out for a few of the activities he hosted. For trivia, etc., they gave out “bling on a string.” I hope they find a new supplier soon!
  19. The lobster you order in the MDR from the Steakhouse Selection is a Maine Lobster tail, not the rock lobster that is served on elegant night. There is no comparison. It’s much bigger and tastier. The Steakhouse lobster tail is well worth the upcharge.
  20. Thank you for trying to keep up with your postings. I’m sure we all appreciate the quirks of Carnival’s wifi. We’ll be here when you catch up.
  21. I am also unimpressed with the MDR lobster on elegant night. Last time I had it was several months ago. I ordered one and my server brought two. One was terribly salty, so much so that I couldn’t even taste the lobster. The other one was soft and mushy. I didn’t finish either one and ordered something else instead. For excellent lobster tail, either go to the steakhouse or pay the up charge to get steakhouse lobster in the MDR.
  22. How long did it take for them to deny your request? Just wondering what their turnaround time is lately. I’m still waiting to hear.
  23. On my last cruise I wasn’t able to get the water from a bar. They told me to just take one of the bottles in the cabin and I wouldn’t be charged for it. I did that and there was no charge. Seems simpler than the bars taking care of it.
