I will never do a diy tour on a tender day again. Either a ship tour or just walk around the port on my own after eventually getting ashore. Bar Harbor did me in!

Maybe you could find someone on your rollcall who would want to share the cabana with you.

I’m considering wearing a bikini for the first time ever on my upcoming cruise. It’s because bathing suits never seem to dry out in a cabin. I figure the less fabric the quicker it may dry. And if it won’t at least I won’t have that awful wet bathing suit touching my belly. Eek.

I’ve come to the conclusion that next time I’ll just take a HAL cruise. If I take all of dry cleaning with me I’ll save enough that I’ll break even. 😃

And here in the US it’s becoming common to be charged extra for using a CC. 🙃

I had a good experience with a cab in Boston from North Station to the port. Took Silver Line from port to airport. Did involve a bit of walking

@kazu That’s how I feel too. A brief chat here and there but mostly to ourselves and at our own pace of eating.

Wow. No MDR breakfast on this day. Coloring and doodle art seem prolific and such a simple excuse for planned shipboard activities. I think a little more variety of crafts would be nice.

Here’s a non YC review I did. I kind of do a comparison with a similar class RC ship.

Great review. Non YC info is needed. A few thoughts so far: We’ve cruised NCL post restart. The food was awful. The water at your table was because of the drink package. Those without it got pitchers of water on my Meraviglia cruise. We didn’t have elevator problems on Meraviglia. It didn’t have the smart elevators. The buffet on Mera was quite busy but not unbearable. You could always head aft and there was a back section of food and seating. If you ever take a chance on MSC again maybe a different class of ship would work out better. We loved Ocean Cay but yes it was very hard to get a drink from a bar. In fact we found it hard to get bar drinks generally even on the ship. I liked the format of your review!

Not so much fog as bad weather made us lose an entire day/night of our cruise out of Tampa once. The previous sailing came in a whole day late as it waited for it to be safe to come under the bridge. We were staying at my parent’s place in St Pete with a beautiful view so although disappointing it wasn’t all that bad. We got a refund for the missed day, a percentage off a future cruise and money for one missed meal.

Oh my. I’m thinking on an Eastbound TA we would probably want breakfast at 10:30 -11:00. (I know this is ridiculous 😉) Looks like there is nowhere to eat at that time non brunch days. I’ll be on Vista Class so no NY Deli. I was hoping for more brunch days. Oh well. Room service looks good. 👍

We got the Early Booking bonus for a May 2024 TA We booked in September so about 8 months out. But we also could’ve still gotten it for an April TA (7 months)

The Morimoto By Sea idea is way too similar to Tamarind. This makes no sense. French, Mediterranean or possibly Latin would have been a better choice. Or non Asian themed fish restaurant since the want to highlight the fresh fish on board.
