    Thanks so much Dee. I’ll be on my first HA cruise this May on Zuiderdam ( sister ship) so this was really helpful. I’m a subscriber so I’ll look forward to more of the vlog.

    I’m definitely a small ship girl. If you look at my signature one of our cruises was on a converted car ferry. I know they are so gaudy and so not HAL but I have the same fondness for CCL Fantasy class which is fading fast.

    For our cruise reservations opened up exactly 120 days before. I had trouble using the app to reserve so did it online using a Chrome browser on my tablet.

    Don’t forget to check the spam folder. They sometimes delay as a security measure. If it’s your first time buying cards and it’s a large amount they wait a bit.

    The photo is fuzzy on my phone, but it looks like it says May 11. If so that is the the same as original day to disembark.

    Yes. I did. Then I later bought more and made a payment. Just bought cards to make final payment. I have always gotten the cards via email within a few hours of buying them, but it can take up to 48 hours. Just an fyi if you want to use them for a deposit.

    For these cards you do. Some cards on the AARP do not say members only.

    I I have gotten confirmation from HAL and my TA that I can use AARP gift cards to pay for Flight Ease flights.

    I booked a partially obstructed on deck 4 for our upcoming TA. I like the bigger windows (balcony slider size) and convenience of the location. I would love an aft view but for 14+ days I want a cabin with less of a walk to get to it. I like popping in and out. Plus I don’t have a balcony budget at the moment.

    I don’t think there is an exact answer. I’m fairly sure it varies. I agree with the poster above if it’s a refundable deposit. That’s what we did

    I’m on the May 11th TA on Zuiderdam. Morimoto is a pop up one night in the PG. on the app it just shows as unable to book PG that night. website you can book it though as Morimoto.

    Why not just buy refundable OBC? There isn’t a savings with the card is there?

    I like watching tv in bed when on vacation! I rarely sit on a couch or chair in a cabin or hotel room

    I found I had to use a laptop to make reservations. The phone and tablet kept giving me problems
