  1. Also as you had been referred to a clinic I presume you would have been able to get a medical certificate from your GP.
  2. Yes my Allianz policy says this. But again I thought a GP would not see you if you had covid, so do they take your word for it and issue a medical certificate.
  3. I thought that if you suspected you had covid you could not attend these centres. They were only to provide “fit to fly” certificates.
  4. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2842633-any-yanks-been-on-po-out-of-southampton-how-different-was-the-brit-centric-trip-vs-what-i-might-be-used-to/#comment-62946171 See above thread. Maybe @Tapior @fsufancc can help.
  5. We bought our ninja 15 in 1 multi cooker a month ago and have used it every night since with the addition of a microwave. Have not used oven or hob at all. So fast.
  6. Smaller balcony cabins are GZ and it is the cabin which is smaller than those adjacent not the balcony. you tube cabin on deck 8
  7. The security was there around the Royal Family walking alongside them in suits but unobtrusive and definitely not so many as the President would have had.
  8. If you have iPhone go to Settings then Phone then WiFi Calling and turn on
  9. Is it because it is a longer cruise or is it going to Canada, USA or the Caribbean.
  10. Yes but some people shower at night before dinner rather than in the morning.
  11. Not that I know of, it is still bookable. It no longer goes to St. Petersburg.
  12. What ship were you on that berthed at Syracuse? I don’t think it can take large ships. When we were on Celebrity Constellation we were due to stop at Catania but there was no room so we went to Syracuse but we had to tender. The steps at the dockside were very difficult.
  13. I think it is good that the shuttle drops you off to the north of the main streets. You can then walk down to the city gates and the square and along the front to the ship. That is enough walking for me.
  14. Thank you for your observations. Could you advise what deck and area (aft, middle, forward) you cabin was located.
  15. I agree, it it very easy to miss the part where you can choose you cabin online and many are caught out and are confused when have chosen "Select" but do not have a cabin number. You can choose select and are unable to choose a cabin when the ship is very full. Happened to me once on Adonia but at final payment was given a choice of cabins.
  16. Are you sure about that? Earlier this year they were certainly taking cars out of the dock area at Ocean Terminal. Sometimes you are returning to different terminal and they take them straight there.
  17. Under P&O FAQs things not allowed on board Items not supplied by the Company containing any kind of heating element, such as but not limited to: immersion heaters, heating blankets, clothes irons, electric steamers, water heaters, coffee machines with heating / hot plates, etc.
  18. Ok in Malta you need a bus from Valletta to Sliema beach.
  19. I thought it was aft on D deck so there you go. Investigate and don’t book a cabin in a quarantine area. I’d be wary of any cabins 700 plus.
  20. Deck C has much larger balconies half covered half open. Superior have a larger interior including a sofa plus a large balcony which is totally uncovered.
  21. There is only two of us and it is a multi cooker so does everything but it is expensive although the 11 in 1 is more expensive at the moment as there is an offer on the 15 in 1. It also does not steam roast or have the included automatic meat thermostat probe. However it saves time, cooks well, uses so little oil when frying so good and saves electricity.
