How hard would it have been, when the OP showed up at the dining room, instead of telling him that it was only for back to back guests and turning them away, to just admit them and serve them lunch? They are standing there hungry, the dining room is serving lunch, just let them in 🤓

Sea days the mDR will be open. Also Spa Cafe and Mast Grill which are also open on port days.

Even though it might look like you have reservations in the main dining room, you really don’t. If you are booked in an Aqua class room, your dining room assignment is BLU.

Go back to the TA you used for the first cruise and book the second one with them. Celebrity can’t touch or alter that booking so you wouldnt get the price reduction. Save a lot of hassle and use the TA for both

When was this? How full was the ship? Back when the ships were carrying less than full capacity there were fewer problems with possible overcrowding. The issue with just showing up at the main dining room is that they can’t balance the load by sending someone from there into luminae to take your place. and if yiu have been sitting at the same table in Luminae but don’t show up, they don’t know if you are just running late or aren’t coming at all. So it’s always a good idea to keep them informed

If by “tip “package you mean the gratuities, they do not apply to drinks. The gratuities cover housekeeping and dining staff.
