  1. The drink package should show on your boarding pass, and you should be able to see both it and the Wi-Fi in your purchase history
  2. Each guest can bring two bottles at embarkation. Most bring it in their carry-on, but you can put it in your suitcase if you wish.
  3. Did you talk to Guest Relations about this while you were on the ship? Did they send anyone from the engineering department to check on it?
  4. Definitely do your homework so you know the difference between a veranda and an “infinite verandah” which is a room with a window
  5. You are making too big a deal out of the wellness check. Do it online, go to the terminal, somebody there may say, do you feel ill? Or they may not.
  6. The points cannot be converted or transferred between the two lines.
  7. Take a look at hotel prices in Sydney over the holidays. Rental cars, too.
  8. This is called a downline disembarkation and you need to apply to Celebrity and pay a fee to have it approved. The fee was approximately $65 a person. Before the shut down it was easy to do, then after the restart they were not giving permission for this at all, but lately a couple of cruisers have indicated that they were able to get permission recently but I would definitely get the permission before I go booking your flight. One last thought, there is no refund for your missed day on the cruise
  9. Check the smoking policy on each line……MSC allows smoking in the casino, Celebrity doesn’t.
  10. I think that when you sell out of Southampton and have more British passengers on board, you may see more formality. Tuxedos, kilts, dinner jackets are all pretty common. Not required, but often seen
  11. Not so. Many people cruise time after time and then suddenly have queasy feelings because the seas are rougher. You know that the number who are suddenly overcome is not small because you see the cruise line place seasickness bags around the ship. If you don’t need the medicine, fine, but many do and there is no reason to denegrate them because of it
  12. Well the stores are not open every day, for one thing. A trip to the infirmary often incurs a fee. Guest Services is there 24/7
  13. Don’t omit the tiara! Dress as posh as you like!
  14. In some cities you have to pay for transfers, in some cities the local government pays for transfers so there is no charge to you, it varies from port to port. So it would help if you would tell us which ports you were going to. Your sea pass card, which is your room key, is coded to show which beverage package you have.
  15. They do not have a holding place. A couple of days before the first cruise ends, talk to your state room attendant and tell him or her what room you will be moving to, and it’s usually a nice thing to go to that room and introduce yourself to the new state room attendant. The two of them will coordinate your move. The new state room attendant will probably clean that room first before his or her others. Put the things in the drawers and on the bathroom shelves into your suitcase. Leave the hanging things on hangers. They will bring a cart to move your clothes and belongings to the new room.
  16. Longer than that, family hours have been posted for years on various ships which had cold water itineraries or a lot of bad weather
  17. Have you looked in the reviews section of Cruise Critic?
  18. Going by past patterns, the new deployment come out sequentially in October November and December so what you seek could come as early as October or as late as December
  19. You can absolutely book a royal Caribbean cruise while you are on Celebrity. What they don’t have is the big book of deck plans and all the details of every state room. But if you know exactly what you want to book, they can book it for you
  20. That would be long after final payment so no refund from Celebrity. You would have the cabin to yourself. Whether or not your friend would get any refund depends on what kind of insurance she would have
  21. It can vary so consult the instruction sheet they will put in your stateroom
  22. Lots of Celebrity cruises are already selling out
