I was going to say that is a long drydock but they are doing a great improvement to the Sun.I guess I'm not sure what they are doing to the buffet as it is small to begin with. Where will Teppanyaki get extra room from? Sports Bar also small area.

Maybe take space from Moderno for buffet or Tepp? Seems there was some dead space in hall between sports bar and Moderno.

They'll have a lot less work to do in drydock, since NCL began these renovations during the Sun's previous cruise, putting the passengers at substantial risk on top of ruining what for many was a once-in-a-lifetime cruise.

And, will the work really be done? Or will the next cruise be impacted as well? Although I imagine to a much lesser extent given the poor publicity.

Any idea what would replace the observation area? I interested in the SA cruise going through the locks. The observation area would have been useful.

I would wager it will be suites. The Sun only has 20 suites now.

I was happy to finally find what their plans are and share it! I have never been on the Sun (or NCL), sounds like a lot of work is going to be done. It was awful for the people on that cruise during renovations, for sure. Not sure what NCL was thinking there!

According to the information posted above, it says that the Observation Lounge on Deck 12 will be Spinnaker Lounge with updated decor.

What I would like to know is are they going to leave the outside deck off the Observation Lounge as it is.
