There are over-the-water cabanas, hillside cabanas and beach level cabanas. What is a Palm Tree Cabana?

Just have to be in a Grand Suite or above to enter the area. BonVoyage Dawna

cb at sea Posted October 21, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 21, 2017 There are plenty of trees for shade...simply pull a lounger under the tree! You can move the loungers wherever you want them.
Andy C Posted October 21, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 21, 2017 The cost of those cabanas is highway robbery. I must say we do enjoy Barefoot beach though and having your own towel and drink butler is nice although our last butler could have used a little more training. Rare Lionesss Posted October 21, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 21, 2017 Love barefoot beach. Been there 8 times, 7 as a suite beach and once when all shared it before the WALLS WENT UP:o We have always gotten three loungers under the trees, and enjoyed free snorkel gear, floaties and a fun relaxing day. We do an excursion or two, so never got a cabana, but when we do two excursions for three people, whether it be zip line and jet ski, it adds up to more than the cost of a cabana. So enjoy what you like. The cabanas only once were completely occupied. It seems that when we checked in the gate keeper kept trying to rent us one. Had our attendant that got us drinks (we had drink package) floaties and snorkel gear. Yup we tipped him Left our wet towels there in the bin, did not have to lug them back on board. Love the area. Safe travels.

BonVoyage Dawna The 12/31/17 oasis sailing is $594 for over the water on Nellies too. I booked it months ago at $495. We are a group of 6 so cost isn’t too bad. I doubt we will get one again in the future though. Between the high cost and losing the upgraded buffet at barefoot beach, it just isn’t worth it to me anymore (especially if it’s just me and DH). SG65CB Posted October 21, 2017 #19 Share Posted October 21, 2017 Here are a couple of photos I took of Barefoot Beach. You can see there are plenty of lounge chairs (at no extra cost) with your choice of sun or shade. The cabana prices are outrageous but I guess if they are sold out then that is the correct price. I paid $175 for a standard cabana at Barefoot Beach in 2016.
