So excited! Leaving on MSC Seaside Saturday October 13 for seven nights following with Carnival Glory for seven nights. First time trying this, trust it will work, as long as no hurricane delays! We drive to Miami from Gulf Coast so said to husband may as well make it two weeks as opposed to one. Should be fun. Anyone else ever done this?

This summer we sailed 2 weeks on the Seaside. We were scheduled to sail on the Celebrity Equinox immediately after the MSC cruise. As luck would have it, the Equinox was docked immediately in front of the Seaside in Miami. The morning of disembarkation we grabbed our bags, walked off one ship and walked about 500 feet to embark on another. It was seamless!

You may not be quite as fortunate by having the ships right next to one another. You may need to grab a cab or Uber to get you from one terminal to another. My quick calculations on Google Maps shows the MSC terminal (F) about half a mile from the Carnival terminal (D)

Have fun

There was someone on MSC YC last week that was going to Carnival for this week.

Certainly I think he should have done Carnival first followed by MSC YC.. Maybe he is on the CC and will respond

Terminal F and D seem not far away, only one ship (terminal E) in between. A luggage cart is all what's needed.

Not true. There is a Disney terminal, Terminal 10 and Terminal G between. There is not a sidewalk all the way there. You will be "swimming upstream" as you will be going against the flow of one-way traffic. Doable... but maybe not the safest, smartest decision.

Terminal G is on the west side (behind) of Terminal F. Earlier this year we picked a friend up from Port of Miami and strolled all the way from the South Parking Lot (Port Administration) to the taxi stand across Terminal B and back. It took us 20(+-) minutes one way without carrying luggage. You can walk between the Terminals and N Cruise Blvd, there is no traffic just parked delivery trucks and cars.

We're doing something similar in January. Going on 7 day Allure of the Seas and then MSC Divina for 11 nights. We don't know how we're going to get from one terminal to the next, but I guess we'll figure that out when we are there. I'm assuming it will be quite a distance from Terminal F to the new Royal Caribbean terminal.

The new Royal Caribbean Terminal is Terminal A and located at the east side of Port of Miami. That is indeed far away from Terminal F.

  • 4 weeks later...

Home from our b2b - MSC Seaside to Carnival Glory - worked great - loved both ships - no problems - got off Seaside at Terminal F and walked to Glory (passed Horizon on way) pulling out luggage with us - wasn't a bad walk - we were walking against the traffic - sidewalks weren't always available but was ok - doing it again in January from MSC Divina to Carnival Magic - now that we know it works out cannot wait.

Different ports.  Not quite the same thing OP's asking about.
