Norwegian Cruise Line to Increase Gratuities on All Ships

"Effective April 1, the line has raised the rates for standard cabins and mini-suites from $13.99 to $14.50 per passenger, per day. Those staying in The Haven and other suites will be charged $17.50 per person, per day -- up from $16.99.

Cruises booked before March 31 will offer the option to prepay gratuities at the current rate, as long as it's done before the sail date. "

guess it's time to call them up and prepay.

It is not that you are a day late and NCL Fee increased short - - -

"BUT" there are three other dual track Threads started in this subject

and no doubt by the time I finish this someone else will have chimed

in with another.

Let us see if we can consolidate these all into one and perhaps make

We are now up to 8 dual track threads about this increase !

I hate the increase too, but the increase is minimal when you are spending a few $1000. Not going to cancel

If resort fees can be a proxy for cruise gratuities then in a few years expect gratuities to be higher than the actual cruise cost.
