Flower Vases

I usually bring flowers on board for a cruise but this is my first time on Celebrity. Will my steward be able to scrounge up a vase?

Yes. They have small bud vases and larger ones for bouquets.

We usually pick up a plastic vase from the Dollar Store and bring it on board.

Cabin Stewart has always come through with a nice vase regardless of the size of the bouquet I’ve brought on board.

My cabin steward saw us walking to our humble interior cabin with flowers and had a vase for me before I even asked.

I didn't realize you could bring fresh flowers on board - don't they fall under the no fresh fruits, vegetables, etc. on or off because they don't want to introduce non-indigenous bugs, etc.?

IT depends a little on where in the world you are, but usually you can bring flowers on the ship you just can’t take them off with you

There is a nice range of flower vase sizes on the ships. Our cabin attendants have been able to accommodate rather bouquets.

Your cabin steward will probably be able to find a vase, but you're talking about embarkation day when the stewards are at their busiest. It seems that they have other more critical things to do at that time, and you might not get your vase for several hours. By the time you get it your flowers will not be at their best. It you routinely take flowers onboard, why not get yourself a Dollar Store plastic vase (pack it stuffed with socks, etc.) or check Amazon for collapsible vases - they're really kind of cool!

Depending on what type of room you have, Celebrity may provide fresh flowers for your room.

We just got off the Equinox yesterday and there were fresh flowers in our room from the ship. We were in Aqua class.

Thanks everyone. I was pretty certain the steward would be able to get me a vase, but just wanted to verify. About 40 days left!

I always cruise with fresh flowers. Just can't take them off and the cabin steward will provide a vase upon request.
