Sip and Sail Package - What is it?

Sip + Sail is not a package that you can purchase; it is a booking promotion that adds the Premier Beverage Package to the first two passengers when booking a balcony and above cabin.

But you are too late for January 2019. The current Sip + Sail promotion is for cruises from Summer 2019 thru Spring 2020.

While Sip and Sail is a promotion the Premier Beverage Package is available for purchase through your Cruise Personalizer or onboard on embarkation day. Check out https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/ and go to the section entitled "Savor the Simplicity of One Price" and click on the view terms link for the Premier Beverage Package.

I read a little about a "Sip and Sail" package on Princess. What is it? Is it worth it? And who can book it? We've booked a balcony room for the Grand heading for Mexico in January, 1019.

As stated you are too late for January 2019 Sip & Sail promo. You can purchase the package for US$68.99/pp/day. Details are in your cruise personlizer under Onboard Reservations.

Is it worth it? It takes approximately 5 to 7 cocktails per day to break even assuming you also drink some espresso drinks and other soft drinks. If you max out alcoholic beverages, 15, each day you basically wind up getting them at half the menu price.

Got it. Thanks. That's a lot of booze.

Sip & Sail Promo has never been offered to Australian customers , 3 for Free has.

Neither have ever been offered to Caribbean customers , nor any of the other promos, ie Sun Drenched Deals, etc. At least you get some promos. Count yourself lucky.

The 3 for Free version that we get offered is different to others though. The last 3 for Free that I used was a Balcony Breakfast, $100 credit towards excursions and a cabin upgrade within the same category (which to many is not an upgrade). Hardly enticing. We never get free grats as part of the 3 for Free that others get.
