Rare mcatmcat Posted February 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2018 I know people are always complaining about Royal website but since today I was lucky not to find any problems. My family told me about a quick getaway so I went to the website looking for prices but I can’t find any ship sailing from Miami or fort Lauderdale -3nights- for a moment I though royal had pulled from those port until I went to another website that sells cruises and yes Navigator n other ships are sailing for 3 nights Why is it that royal won’t care about their website? Ourusualbeach Posted February 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Working fine for me. I was easily able to pull up 76 3-5 night sailings from Miami and Ft lauderdale. https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/?departureCode_FLL=true&departureCode_MIA=true&durationCode_2to5=true&icid=hpnvbr_pagehe_fnd_hm_awaren_938
kimma11 Posted February 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2018 My daughter commented that Royal needs to hire the IT staff from Carnival. Royals website sucks in comparison to Carnivals site. deliver42 Posted February 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 I've never had a problem finding any cruises on Royal's site, regardless of how many days. just click on the top of the page, where it asks how many days you are looking for. Rare Oceansaway17 Posted February 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2018 yes it does have a mind of its own. But Celebrity is worse. and MSC is really bad. still clear your cookies and get out of site and then go back in. I still use a Vista OS and works fine for me. For me, it depends on the browser I use. The amusing thing is Chrome works one day when IE isn't working. Then the following day, it switches. Frustrating. Even when working, I find their "Search for a cruise" functionality to be clunky.
4roses Posted February 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 24, 2018 For the life of me, can't do anything on their site using Chrome, but Internet Explorer works just fine. Usually its the opposite for me

soremekun Posted February 25, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Hopefully they make note of the bug (feature?) that removes all promotions and increases the cruise fare.
Clarea Posted February 25, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Hopefully they make note of the bug (feature?) that removes all promotions and increases the cruise fare. Are you kidding? The programmer who wrote that program to raise the cruise price "by mistake" probably got a huge bonus!
surf cruiser Posted February 25, 2018 #14 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Tonight a RCCL agent said they are getting a new website and app. Hope so!
Reds4life Posted February 25, 2018 #15 Share Posted February 25, 2018 The biggest difference in RC and Carnival search capabilities to me is the monthly view search on carnival where you can enter your parameters and see all available sorted by lowest price
fsuchick97 Posted February 25, 2018 #16 Share Posted February 25, 2018 I recently book my first Royal Carib cruise and I found their website to be so lacking on information and frustrating to navigate. Between cruise critic and my booking site I've gotten way more information that on their own website.
cb at sea Posted February 25, 2018 #17 Share Posted February 25, 2018 They have no incentive to pay money to "fix" the website....they aren't lacking for cruisers despite the website!
