Wow you guys are great! I haven't had time to check your responses until just now. I decided I'd buy both and when I got there all they had were the silver. They are SO cute and pretty comfy too, plus they are really pretty on your feet. They are a little taller than I would like, but not too bad. Thank you Drew's Wife for posting them. We leave in 2 days and I didn't have time to really shop or order something else on-line. Great shoe for the money!!!:D

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I appreciate it!

Great, Hope you enjoy them and have a fun trip. Be sure and post some pictures! We love pictures!!:)

Here is one of my Ebay dresses. The two guys on either side of us were having such a good time watching us get our photos taken that I had to invite them to join us. This turned out to be one of the best pictures of DH and I. :p

Love it, one of the best photos on here.

That's great Judy. I have to admit that I usually don't buy a sandal type shoe with straps across the feet and toes as they can be very uncomfortable.

I was at the mall on a quick look before our cruise as I just really wanted to buy a pair of gold shoes. I looked at several stores in the mall, and these were the only ones that actually looked pretty good, but they felt good.

I thought I got a good deal on them for $20 before Christmas, but for the prices that we have paid now....can't beat it.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend;)

Question: Do you change attire after dinner? I've never cruised NCL, so I'm a bit confused about the freestyle meals. We have most of our meals booked at specialty restaurants, so I will be dressy but not formal(ish);) My last cruises (which were my first ever) I dressy dressed and then changed after dinner for the casino etc. I guess what I'm wondering is this: will this be ok for the specialty restaurants and later for the casino?

TIA!!

That would be fine for what you want to do. As far as "do you change after dinner".....it depends on what I am doing. IF it's a "dress up or not" night, I will wear a formal long evening dress...so, yes, I change because I dance in stocking feet and my dress would drag the floor and I would prob fall on my rear....If I have on a short cocktail dress and I am going to be doing something that would show "all my glory", then yes I change

Have fun with NCL....it's my FAVORITE line....which ship are you on?

We were on the Dawn last September and had a wonderful time!! We did all specialty restaurants (and the Chef's Table) ... it was an amazingl cruise. Enjoy! Jan

Beautiful Dress!! I LOVE freestyle cruising on NCL! I sometimes change clothes after dinner because I am so cold natured, I am always cold in the show or the casino - so I usually put on capri's with a 3/4 length sleeve top - or add a light sweater!

Thanks,

It's Yoana Baraschi; her stuff fits me really well~but I would never pair that dress with those heels! Sometimes I wonder what photo shoot stylists are thinking:confused:

I'm always cold too, so I'll make sure to bring cardis and wraps!!! Actually I have been known to keep Hot Hands in my pockets and Uggs (withsocks) on my feet:)

Jan,

That's good news:) what's the best way to get reservations for the Chef's Table?

I'd really, really like to do that, but seating is so limited I imagine getting seats is like winning the lottery! Any advice will be most appreciated!!

TIA[/quo

We were very lucky - Suites, etc got to sign up before the cruise .. we were not in a suite, so went to the reservations desk first thing and there was room. Usually they take 10(?) our dinner had 14 ... wonderful group of people. We had one person that asked everyone how they met ... great ice breaker and fun to listen to. :)

Our best meal besides the chef table was the Teppanyaki - we met some great people and had lots of laughs and wonderful food (I cannot eat soy, and they did a great job of making sure that there was none in my foot). Have a great time!! Jan

I called our concierge and he said I need to wait until we board. I thought I read somewhere that suites could make arrangements before the cruise.

Oh well,

Here are some new dresses:

Jax...this runs so small, normally I am a size 2 or maybe a 4, this is an 8 and the 10 is on its way!!

All your dresses are lovely.

We cruised Dawn once also. Sometime I change after dinner and sometimes I don't. Depends what we are doing and what I'm wearing. We always do the late dinners when we can, so sometimes there is no time to change and we're hoofing it to the front of the ship to make a show time. Other times I change into pants or capris because I'm sitting in a show from 10pm-midnight or spending time on deck and I want to be comfortable. You'll see all sorts of fashions in the casino.

Love your style. The green dress is stunning and fab cruise colours on the second. Did you get these on line or in store? Really good selection.

Thanks,

I buy all my clothes online. The prices are usually better and the clothing has never been tried on so there is no shop wear, makeup stains etc.

Also, Revolve, Shopbop, Zappos, 6pm, Modcloth and even Amazon* have really generous return policies.

*Amazon owns Shopbop, 6pm and Zappos
