You did it again Radio, those pictures are amazing.

We have been to Antinga a few years back, it sure looks different.

Definitely will try Sandal's the next time. The pictues are so beautiful, the water so inviting. Thanks again for taking your time to share pictures of these beautiful places in the Caribbean. Enjoy St Martin tomorrow one of our favorite islands. Time is surely flying, enjoy those few last days left!! :)

Ahhhh...a Radio Live Report...just the thing I need to get over my PCD!

We've just made Diamond on Royal -- what kind of perks will we get on Celebrity? The ship certainly is beautiful!

Thanks, Mark, for keeping us informed and entertained!

Looking forward to more...

What a treat to read all about the Silhouette and your adventure. I was on the Solstice and loved it. Having Aqua Class, I could eat in Blu. It was nice, but in January, we will dine in the main dining room. Do you have traditional or anytime dining?

I noticed that you enjoy going to Sandals. Are you a Travel Agent? My daughter is and she went to Sandals in every port to see the properties.

Your photos are fantastic and you really have a way with words. Many thanks for taking us along for the ride. :):)

No flag, but I do generally wear my Otto shirt on day 1 to match my avatar.

What has two thumbs and is excited to soon be on a cruise?

Enjoying your pictures Radio. I think we visited the beach that Sandals is on during our port day in Antigua a couple of years ago. Is it on Dickinson Beach?? If so .. it was the prettiest beach we have ever been on. The sand and water reminded me of a postcard!!

Radio, Fantastic photos of Antiqua beaches. We love Antiqua!! Last time there we stayed at a beach right next to the Sandels Resort and we walked over to where the resort was to check it out. The beach even where we were was gorgeous. I think they have the prettiest beaches out of all the islands. Been to a few of their beaches and love them all. Your photos bring back so many great memories. Now I want to book a cruise and head back to Antiqua!!!

Enjoy the rest of your cruise. Have fun in St. Maarten tomorrow! We usually head over to Divi Little Bay Beach and then return to town to pick up some liquor before heading back to the ship.......LOL St. Maarten has the best prices!! :-)

RADIO......Boy, do I love cruising vicariously through you!!!:D The review has been entertaining to read and the pictures are awesome! I've been to many of those islands quite a few times now, and, the pictures bring me right back!!! Love it!!!!! Enjoy St. Maarten.......are you heading over to the Sunset Beach Bar?? One of my faves!!!!

Curious.....do you purchase a day pass to go to Sandals? If so, is it done through the ship? We have an upcoming cruise and I'm thinking of trying out the Sandals on Antigua.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your cruise!

When we visited Antigua two years ago on a Southern Caribbean cruise, we went to Sandals and bought a day pass. I think it might have been at least $125 a person. But it was so worth it. The place is beautiful. I don't think it is available through the cruiseline. If you search cruise ports and Antigua and Sandals, there is information. We try to buy day passes at a lot of the ports in the Caribbean.

By the way, Radio, you are just wonderful. We just booked Silhouette for a 12-night Adriatic cruise and I am just hanging on your every word about the ship. As you, I am a frequent cruiser on RC (almost Diamond plus) and thought I would try Celebrity. Thank you again.

Your pics and reviews are awesome! I am so appreciative that you are taking the time for your "fans." We are going on the Silhouette on 4/10 and plan to go to the Sandals Antigua. It looks lovely and can't wait. Did you have to make a reservation in advance? THey say no. ALso how far was it from the ship?

Keep up the great work. Thanks again.

Joan

hi joan, i'm starting to regret not planning on sandals in antigua. :( the 5 star catamaran sounds really nice though but sandals looks breathtaking!

I phoned them with no answer. . .not good. We’ll just have to see what is available. It should be no worries. . .If a car is not available, I will just have to walk, or take a cab. . .

The sun is up string this morning, and it looks like the weather should be nice. The forecast is calling for warm temps (86F)

The way the life boats are right below his balcony, I am pretty sure he's on deck 7.

You are correct. . .Deck 7 (STB)

The Lifeboats are located just below Deck 6. . .

We are sailing exactly one year away (4/6/2013), looking at your reports and pictures, making us every excited about this coming trip on the Reflection (your future sister cruise ship)

Perhaps we will look into a 7 days cruise on the Silohouette sometime this year. ;)

I know you mentioned earlier in the thread that you won't be posting pictures of the food, but why not, they are probably one of the many things we are looking forward to on board.

thanks again for the wonderful report. :D

Wow, Mark, your pictures continue to amaze us. I think I am actually getting some suntan. btw, thanks for NOT taking food pics, if I need to see food I can tune into the Food Network. Or cook. Prefer sea, sand, and beautiful ships. Thanks

Now we are scheduled to be there on Silhouette on April 17th.. Yippee!!!

some on our roll call are going to Sandals Grande-- it looks fantastic.... we are taking a ship's excursion to Dickinson beach this time around, so I hope we get to take a look at it for next year's cruise!
