the site was down yesterday for everyone
I beg to differ: it wasn't down for me, not yesterday, not any day

but then I regularly cleanse my OS with CCleaner and Eusing Registry Cleaner.

Suggest you do the same?

Don't be surprised at the huuge junk these apps throw out, on the first run..

A comment on using CCleaner and any registry cleaner.

CCleaner is fine but be VERY careful using a registry cleaner... some work fine, others you may find some programs not working at all. Your registry is like the nuts and bolts of the engine running everything on your computer. If still running Vista as a OS I would suggest NOT using the registry cleaner. JMHO (and I do this for a living).

BTW the entire site was down for a portion of time yesterday.

As of 7:30am today, I still am not able to get on Carnival.com from Chrome but yet when I went through IE, it worked. Anyone know if this my problem or theirs? Thanks

Instead of using a shortcut to get there, copy the Carnival address from the IE address bar, close IE, open Chrome and paste it into Chrome the address bar. Websites sometimes alter their address ever so slightly and people can still access the site because they are redirected to the new address. However, some browsers don't allow redirection as a security feature. Firefox was doing this to me on the Celebrity home page. It got so annoying that I finally shut that feature off. I don't know if you can shut it off in Chrome. If it works, save it as a new favorite or shortcut.

Safari seems to be working fine with all of the site. I just booked a cruise!

The newer IE still has problems with some of the pages and locks up when trying to book a cruise!! Especially the booking and manage my cruise pages!
