Deployment schedule: let the guessing begin!

Recommended Posts

It's hard to understand what is going on and why. The other think that does not make sense is that they have updated Anthem deck plans but not Quantum even though Quantum comes out about 6 months ahead.

I guess with the change in deployment just announced may be the reason why the deck plans for Quantum were not updated all this time.

They are probably putting in a larger casino.

The move to Asia for a brand new ship is quite a shock to a regular consumer/avid cruiser....even though we didn't have anything booked for Quantum. :)

Like everyone has already said... didn't see this one comin' :(

So the all mighty dollar wins out again, surprise surprise. So is the Asian market really and truly that hot that they need to bring over so many ships??

Looking at Mariner & Voyager this year, it seems over half of them charter that cannot be booked by public. I find that astounding!

So let's see ships that are definitely going to be in Asia are: Mariner + Voyager + Quantum ... then Navigator 2016 when Oasis III released? Or maybe Oasis III goes directly to China/Malaysia/Oz as well! Ugh

Now all that's left to discuss (I think) is Legend, correct?

Wow... what the hell is Galveston getting?? Maybe a downsize to Legend? How about NOLA?... maybe they'll be left out? Wow

Everyone is forgetting that Oasis 3 is coming out in the Spring of 2016, so this might be making room for them to place this ship in the Caribbean. Only my opinion.

one of the 3 OASIS Class ships will be at new port in Hong Kong or Malaysia

yes the Asian market is giant many come to Florida to cruise these big ships when I cruised Oasis in 2010 half the ship was International travelers

This had to be a very very last minute because liberty going to Galveston was practically concrete

Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

"But come November 2015, the 4,180-passenger Anthem of the Seas -- a sister ship to Quantum of the Seas that debuts in April 2015 -- will take Liberty's place in the New York area, "

So Liberty could still move to Galveston in November '15 to replace Navigator, right?

yes, disregard that. At the time I posted that, I wasn't understanding what was going on clearly.

Thanks ;)

Apparently, according to the OCT 31, 2015 roll call, AussieVisi2R stated that the Oct. 31 TA Southhampton to FL has been cancelled and those who are on it are being given options to re book as follows:

They told me it had been cancelled (maybe a charter) and that I could swap my booking to another sailing. She mentioned the 27th Oct with a similar itinerary, but it is not on the web site yet.

They will give me the same room category, for the price I paid, or the new price, whichever is cheaper. And $100 OBC ($200 for a suite).

The Oct 27th cruise has been cancelled - and will likely be the new TA from Southampton to Bayonne.
