Only Hot Hot Hot for us, the first tune the pool band played on our first cruise on Rhapsody and the first tune I want to hear now unless we're going to Alaska;)

We usually do sailaway from our balcony now but our little mini speakers are playing our tune anyways:D

We'd have to add….

Got to Get Back to the Islands - Leon Russell

Sea Cruise - Frankie Ford 1959 classic (best part is ship horn at the beginning!:D)

Kokomo - Beach Boys

Three Little Birds - Bob Marley

One Love - Bob Marley

Margeuritaville - Jimmy Buffett

Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw - Jimmy Buffett (okay…so this one might have some personal significance:o)

Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles!

During my first cruise on Allure, Bee Movie was playing A LOT and I happened to always turn on when the song was playing. When I got home I heard The Beatles version and now, every time I hear it, it reminds me of cruising!

Jo :)

This is my absolutely favorite Beatles song of all time and one of my overall favorites. I never thought of it as being a cruising song until now.

Thanks!!

I was going to say the song from The Love Boat. It's on TV in Chicago every Sunday at 2pm and I've been watching it for the past several weeks in anticipation of my upcoming cruise, which is now only 7 days away.

To prepare for an upcoming trip on Allure of the Seas next month, I am going to make a playlist of music that gets me (even more) excited about cruising.

What song(s) would be on your playlist?

Gotta have Kokomo (Beach Boys), Margaritaville (Buffett), Sittin on the Dock of the Bay (Ottis Redding), and Sailing (Christopher Cross).

I have a friend who went on an Alaskan Cruise. He tears up every time he hears Creedence sing, Have You Ever Seen The Rain and Who'll Stop The Rain. Says that it brings back old memories.

Levels - Avicii

Lust For Life - Iggy Pop

Actually the song is "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida. It may sound like the Avicii song, but it is not.

...And I remember a travel show a few years ago when everytime we went past the RCCL area, we heard the Iggy Pop song. It really has nothing to do with cruising, but will always remind me of cruising.
