Everything.. ESCAPE (live 29 Oct 2015!)

You said you're VIP at the Casino....so you also had $200 worth of Food Credit. Hopefully you were aware of that, too. For the cover charges & quite a bit of a la carte food, it would completely cover a 6 day cruise (assuming the other day is covered by Platinum). It's very useful.

And $300 of spa credit.

No, not VIP although friend that sailed with us is casino VIP & I see I hadn't updated signature maybe that is the confusion. Two or 3 years ago was VIP but then they eliminated most of the benefits (the Haven type VIP things - special lunch and breakfast, vip seating at shows, full concierge service on and off the ship & tenders, free transportation to/from ship, cigars, etc.)

Gotcha. I was confused for a moment. :)

Wait. I'm confused. Did someone say they are charging for food at Margaritaville now?

Some people have stated that some staff have said they might charge for the burger at Margaritaville ($4.95) as a way to try to lessen the lines at the restaurant, but nothing definitive has happened yet.

Not sure how many Parrot Heads realize this but on December 8th, 2015 there will be a Margaritaville opening on Paradise Island in Nassau. If the one on the ship can't get their act together, here is your alternative. And quite honestly, it may be a better option. If the Escape can't get it figured out by May when we cruise, I know which Margaritaville I'll be at....

Wow..did not know that. And we were planning to stay on the ship that day. Guess those plans have changed.

Your butler could - but only from certain venues and room service. I don't think they would deliver Margaritaville burgers unfortunately...it would totally rock if they could though! lol

Yes they can and they will. We had food delivered to our suite from Margaritaville on the Escape TA. :)

Wish I had sprung for a Haven suite, but that pesky budget of mine said "Nope, not happening". So, a mid-ship mini suite is what I'll be landing in later today. [emoji2]

Woo! Just disembarked the Escape this morning and I want to go back!

I went to Margaritaville on a port day and still had a 30 minute wait. Can't imagine what a sea day would be like.

I ordered the taco salad. It was good, but not something I'd wait an hour in line for. So I only went that one time.

For The Record was awesommmme and well worth the fee. My new friend and I went twice. The cast started recognizing me around the ship. The second time we went, I got my picture taken with them a second time and then they decided we should all do a "super crazy" picture. It turned out really cute (and I usually hate pics of myself). I liked this one enough to buy it. lol

The food at the show was okay. The shrimp was not staring at me, thank goodness...but the show itself was easily worth the price of admission. Wish I could see it again. :(

As stated before, they served plenty of Prime Rib in O'Sheehan's at no charge. I can't speak of quality, as I didn't eat there, but I have no reason to think it was anything but good.

I won't be at home on my laptop until tomorrow, so pictures will have to wait until then.

All in all, it was a great week and I'm sad that it's over. :(

Oh, btw...one of the performers in Million Dollar Quarter was either sick or injured (heard something about taking him to the hospital in a port), so I didn't get to see that show.

They brought on Tenors of Rock as replacement the last night. They were awesome!

Just got off the escape this morning. The trap door slides were closed for the last couple of days after an accident.apparently A lady didn't make it through and they sent another passenger down after her. Must have been painful

Hubbie wants to know if he can pack his PlayStation to watch DVDs in our room during "hangover day" lol. Anyone know if this is possible? Is it worth lugging it around in our luggage?

Very unlikely. The TVs are usually blocked for external inputs. I haven't checked on the Escape, but I'd be surprised if you can connect anything.

Equipment / software failure?? I believe there are sensors throughout the slide to prevent this. I hope everyone was okay!
