Everything.. ESCAPE (live 29 Oct 2015!)

Recommended Posts

OK the ship is now half way through its first full run from Miami. Are the lines long at MargaritaVille?

Good question!! I wish those vacationers would stop vacationing and start posting some updates and dailies and things!!! Inquiring minds want to know how it is going!! LOL :D ;)

I'm currently onboard and the line is crazy long. We got back from the Baths yesterday and lines were still long at 1:00.. They're not using one whole section because "the kitchen can't keep up"

It is quite amazing that there haven't been any live accounts of the first seven day cruise. There are a great deal of pics posted on Instagram...use #norwegianescape

Platinum only gets me 1 meal with choice of either Italian or French, no other specialty restaurants, so no to your statement.

You said you're VIP at the Casino....so you also had $200 worth of Food Credit. Hopefully you were aware of that, too. For the cover charges & quite a bit of a la carte food, it would completely cover a 6 day cruise (assuming the other day is covered by Platinum). It's very useful.

And $300 of spa credit.

I was Hot, and got $75 worth of food credit on Escape, which was great. Any idea how much Golden would get? I'm almost there.

As VIP I also got a bottle of wine in October. I wonder how or if that will change with the monetary comp rather than the coupon. I guess I'll find out In January.

I understand that having a Haven cabin gets you certain perks and seeing as how you paid a hefty price, you should but I don't think it would be right for Haven cruise mates to get special priority in a "complementary" venue. IMO

Agreed - while Adrian can work magic, there nothing that can be done in a place with no reservations or assigned seats.

There were 7 bottles of wine, sparkling & prosecco in our room on embarkation day. I'm not entirely sure where they came from....but there's no longer a "dinner" from the casino, it's now a food credit against anything you spend in a restaurant.
