The first sailing out of Port Canaveral for the Liberty is May 4th... AND I'M GOING TO BE ON IT WOOOOO HOOOOOO 7 days!!!!

When you return please let us know if they have luggage express and what the earliest flight time is to use it out of Orlando.

I will be driving to Port Canaveral; sorry I won't be able to answer the flight time questions

If they offer luggage express there will be a paper (flyer) left in your cabin mid week I think, with the information on it.

I've sailed on Liberty twice and the ship is amazing! I went twice on the same destinations, once in June 2013 and once October 2012 : St Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk, and Half Moon Cay. I have all of my pictures posted on Facebook. I really have no idea of how to post on here ??

I am going again on that same route, but this time on Glory in 19 days. Let me know and I can post the link to my Facebook page, or just friend me. Aimee "Reynolds" Parsons. I have all my cruise pictures under there :)

I have been waiting for fresh reviews too! We loved Liberty the first time around and look forward to our next adventure in 6 weeks!

In the meantime, you can see many pictures in my review from 2 years ago:

I rarely see any posts regarding the Liberty out of Port Canaveral. Any reason why?

Does anyone have any good tips or comments to share?

We have a 4J sailing over Halloween.

Look forward to hearing from everyone!

Was on the ship last month. The ship was the best decorated ship we have ever been on out of eightCarnivals. Great cruise, no cruise could be bad. However, missed the Jamacan band on the lido deck, DJ was way too loud, radio music, you can hear that in your car. We noticed the 2.0 downgrades. Food was ok, shows were ok. The burgers were outstanding. Band in the atrium was great.

The reason there aren't any posts regarding the Liberty sailing out of Port Canaveral is because it hasn't been moved there yet. It's still currently sailing out of Miami. We've been on the Liberty twice, and it's currently our favorite ship. If you use the "Search" function on here, you'll find several reviews on the Liberty. I have a few tips to pass along. If you go to the "adults only" pool (at the rear of the Lido deck), make sure you wear flip-flops or sandals. The wooden deck around the pool gets really hot in the sun! Guy's Burgers are really good, and so are the fries. Don't be afraid to ask for a double order of the fries. The burritos at the Blue Iguana Cantina are really good too, especially the breakfast burritos. If you're stopping there for breakfast, go early before the line gets long. If you like specialty coffees (lattes, etc.), go to the Jardin Cafe on deck 5, just past the Casino. You can also get milkshakes there and some really good desserts. If you want fish and chips, take the stairway up that's at the rear of the buffet area. Hope you have a great cruise! I know you're going to love the Liberty as much as we do.;)

We got off yesterday. Had a wonderful time but was disappointed with the overall service...anytime dining, had no wait at 6:00 but seemed as though they were shorthanded on servers...dinners lasted much longer than we were used to with Carnival. We were unlucky with our cabin steward but others traveling with us had a great one that talked with us every time we headed to their cabin to meet up. Burger bar and Burrito bar was very good! As I said though, we had a tremendous time - not going to let a few things ruin a good week at sea!

Used Victor Bodden in Roatan and Nativway in Grand Cayman...fantastic as usual. Paradise Beach at Cozumel is still great and we didn't get off the ship in Belize.

Have fun!

We will be on May 17. Can you tell us more about the food and if the new menu has been tweaked to add back the Creme brûlée and Grand Mariner Soufflé?

We were on last Sept. Liberty is our favorite Carnival ship.

We did a B2B on Liberty this past January. Beautiful ship with 2.0 upgrades. They even had the 10-pc. orchestra & "broadway-ish" shows. Loved it.

Since it hasn't started sailing out of PC, you'll have to search for other reviews which probably would not have the same itinerary as you will have.

I'm sure you will love Liberty.

Does anyone know if you can just get a plain hamburger from Guys? I'm the pickiest eater ever and eat mine with some onions and some BBQ sauce - but would still prefer a juicy hamburger from Guys over the rubbery ones you can get pool side :D

I just meant any current posts - not out of port canaveral. I didn't want anything too old. Thank you for the tips. I'm looking forward to it.
