Favorite Entree: Lobster with Shrimp; also like the Short Ribs.

 

Love the Mongolian Wok (for me, it's worth the long wait) - I could eat there every day!

The last cruise on the Legend they had a fish that was stuffed with a stuffing and it was fabulous I can not remember the name of it though..I had more fish that week than anything else!

Guys Burger French fries-Plain no seasoning. Large portion of Guys mushrooms and a bowl of ice cream. This was my lunch a lot on our last cruise.

When I was young and inexperienced, I liked the lobster. Then I found out:

1. It is frozen.

2. It is subpar to what is real lobster.

3. It is generally overcooked.

4. Real whole lobster is fresh and succulent. The stuff they serve on the ship is like the difference between fresh asparagus and CANNED asparagus. Same stuff, but radically different taste and texture.

 

Now, I love the Onion soup when they still have it.

 

Warning for you...do NOT get the lobster on Royal. Dis-gust-ing!

 

My favs are any of the fruit soups. I am hoping they retain/bring back the ones that went away. While not my fav, I like the escargot on Carnival better than any other place I have had it. I really like the deli sandwiches and I'm looking forward to Guy's and Blue Iguanna on our next sailing.

At breakfast I am obsessed with the cream cheese Danishes. Can't get enough. Lunch time I love the outdoor BBQ they have on sea days. Love the sweet chili sauce. Dinner I love the Thai chicken tenders they have for an app on I believe the second formal night. Trying out the steakhouse and possibly cucina del capitano in feb and looking forward to finding new favorites!!
