Scottohiocpa Posted June 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Last week on the Glory I had Guy's Burger's 3 times and Iguana Cantina Tacos 3 times for lunch. Both of them were AWESOME! Freshly made hot burgers on a warm buttered roll with all the topping you wanted. Seasoned fries on the side. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Or - Freshly made soft flour tortillas full of spicy chicken, pork or fish. Melty cheese and all the toppings or sauces you could ask for. It was really hard to decide which one to get each day. I am curious to see which one will win this poll. How many of you cc'ers vote for Guy's? Or Iguana? Or Can't decide?

GaHawkeye Posted June 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Guy's, because of the toppings available. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
wantocruisemore Posted June 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2014 I voted both. I always do both on a cruise. This time however I did Cantina for 4 of the mornings, burritos for lunch twice and Guys once. I think this past cruise the burritos had a slight edge. Jenny in TX Posted June 9, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Hands down Guy's Burgers! It really isn't a fair answer though because the only thing I ever ate from the Blue Iguana was watermelon. I really need to try the tacos next time.
Warm Breezes Posted June 9, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Haven't tried either yet...but I don't like hamburgers and love mexican food so the choice was easy for me without even trying them. FWIW I don't think I've ever had a hamburger on a ship.
vacruisin Posted June 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 9, 2014 A tie for me. I can't decide! However, I know that the first thing I'm going to have when I get on the Conquest in 20 days will be a Guy's burger with my Funship Special! :D:eek::confused::)

evandbob Posted June 9, 2014 #13 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Never tried the tacos but i will be sure to do so in Jan. !!! Gonna be hard to beat Guy's !! Neither - give me a filet mignon, medium rare, with asparagus and Yukon mashed. Rack of lamb would be a close second.

KPfromCT Posted June 9, 2014 #15 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Just a tip, for those who don't know, they don't offer steak for the tacos, however, they DO offer it for the burritos. If you want steak in your taco, just ask. They will grab it from the burrito side:D:D:D 26 more days!!!!! Nom Nom Nom
flutist14_99 Posted June 9, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Iguana tacos! I loved mixing some of the guys burgers toppings though. I made some excellent chicken club tacos. I got chicken tacos and added a little pico de gallo and cheese from the iguana toppings bar and then some bacon, sautéed onions, and ranch from guys. Yum! Nicole721 Posted June 10, 2014 #21 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Guy's grills their buns with mayo. Mayo is my no go. Blue Iguana, hands down.
Pattyjo9951 Posted June 10, 2014 #22 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Guy's grills their buns with mayo. Mayo is my no go. Blue Iguana, hands down. Can you get it without that kind of bun? That sounds gross!!
Rare crewsweeper Posted June 10, 2014 #23 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Iguanas, hands down (exception being the fish kibbles for the fish tacos--use the fish from Fish N Chips if available) over the grease trap called Guys. Salsa bar beats the leftover lettuce and cold grilled mushrooms and spillovers from other condiments at sunglassesneck's joint. Obviously, I'm not a fan of the man. Though I do love a good burger just not a smashed down burger. IMO, the burger in the MDR at lunch is far superior.
topguy Posted June 10, 2014 #24 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Blue Iguana tacos, all the way. Guy's is way too greasy for me. They can close it down in my book. (Put the guns away, people)
Lefty Writer Posted June 10, 2014 #25 Share Posted June 10, 2014 "Can't decide." I like both of them. The Blue Iguana is great for breakfast, especially on port days when we go diving. Guy's makes a great post dive "refuel," so they both win.
