dacsmom Posted July 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 20, 2014 I have never had any problem bringing my chargers on a ship. I would not be happy if I could not charge my phone (use it for pictures) or computer (I upload photos daily to my computer, since I take so many). bouhunter Posted July 20, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 20, 2014 RCI doesn't want USB chargers on their ships? Where did you hear that? Correct, I think OP is confusing chargers with power strips etc. I can't imagine they'll ever try to stop "chargers". If they did no one could charge their phones, cameras, devices, etc.
joepeka Posted July 20, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) All USB Chargers, Adapters and Cables or that one? If you google "popkiller usb charger" the first hit will be a link to the CPSC recall notice with more info. It looks like only the specific ones sold by this merchant have been recalled. Trekker954 Posted July 21, 2014 #11 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Don't forget you can't get on a plane in a few foreign airports (eu) with a dead device, so they had better not ban devices. I think that poster who said no more chargers is just a nay sayer and doesn't like this thread. To the op, I hope you have success hooking up your iPad. It sounds like with the right remote and being a tad tech savvy you can. Whatever makes your trip more enjoyable, I say go for it.
