Ha! I made platinum with my last cruise also. :-) I think those are the main two things. I don't think there are is anything different with our sea pass coupons? Either way, love cruising!

wait - whoa. I just turned platinum on my last cruise too. I get robes? a pin? I had no idea!! I thought that was for higher categories. Have to look at all those perks again!

a 5 minute wait as opposed to the VERY long line for the other folks.

 

Of course, it meant we spent that much more time on the ship that was freezing cold due to the near blizzard conditions outside. Once everyone was on board and the gangways closed, it eventually got warmer. The muster drill was quite a frigid experience!

Funny how Princess acknowledge loyalty points accrued on P & O, but P& O son't recognise points accrued on Princess!

Us Too. We've now accumulated 34 points. Most excited by being a step closer to diamond and plan to take 12 to 14 night cruises to get there as quick as we can - for fear the new drinks vouchers may run out :D:D

Congrats. We turned Diamond on our last cruise:) Next voyage will be on Celebrity so we'll get reciprocal benefits as Elite in their Captains Club.

 

We never got Platinum or Emerald pins and didn't bother to ask, doubt we'd ever wear them. If you want pins you may have to ask.
