Lawn Grill

Has anyone dined at the Lawn Grill? We will be on the Silhouette on Sunday and it looks interesting. Thanks for any comments.

I have only dined in the Lawn Club Grill on the Reflection, but I would image the experience would be the same.

 

We had the Ultimate Dining Package and ate there two times for dinner and once for lunch. We really enjoyed it.

 

You start with flatbreads (which are pizzas) with pretty much any topping you want. Next is the salad bar which had a nice selection. Main course is grilled steaks, fish, chicken or veggies with a nice selection of side. And finally, dessert which was always their warm chocolate chip cookie (it was amazing).

Lawn Club Grill is our favorite specialty restaurant.

The last time we ate there I mixed it up a bit and did a surf and turf. Wonderful.

We've dined there on Silhouette once and Reflection twice.

We ate dinner there 3 times. We liked Qzine also, but once per cruise for that was enough. I wish this restaurant was on the Summit which we will be on in June. Enjoy!

We loved the Lawn Club Grill on the Reflection Nov 2013. It will be a nice addition when the Glass show is replaced on the other S-Class with it.

Will they be adding the Lawn Club Grill to the Equinox?

There are no plans at the present time to take off the Glass Show and add the Lawn Club Grill to the first three S-Class ships. Equinox went through dry-dock in April 2014, and she still has the Hot Glass Show.

 

They did turn Cellarmasters into Gastropub. Lots of opinions on that one, just do a search.

We ate at the Lawn Club Grill on the Silhouette on our TA this fall. It was terrific, one of our favorite dinners on the 15-night cruise. (And we enjoyed the food on that TA a great deal!) I wish we hadn't waited until so late in the cruise to eat there, or we would have gone back. Wonderful food, excellent service in a very casual atmosphere. (They even told us to wear shorts if we wanted to.)

 

No need to cook your own food if you don't want to. We don't go on vacation to cook, and most folks the night we were there weren't cooking their food either.

We ate there with a group of 20 on our first night last April at a 50% discount. Worth it at that price but I wouldn't pay much more when I'm already paying for my dinner!

We think it is the best restaurant on the fleet. Wish it were on the M class and the rest of the S class.

Also, on boarding, you will typically find the specialty restaurants offering first night discounts, though I assume no guarantee of that.

The Lawn Club Grill is easily our favorite specialty restaurant! Great food and casual atmosphere. What's not to like? :)
