I always read that some kind of a document listing passengers must be sent in 60 minutes before sailing. So how can they let people on at the last minute?

 

Isn't that the purpose of online check-in? So they have the list prepared mostly in advance? They may scratch some names, I guess, but they list would be mostly ready fairly early, I would think.

That's the one. We were very impressed. We were out of the airport within 20 mins of touchdown. Unheard of before at a US airport.
