Carnival bringing back the steel bans

This is great news. I love listening to the steel bands and reggae music. I do miss that from the 80's and 90's. It made you feel like you were on a cruise and in the Caribbean. (Although it does say it's a "Island" job? I wonder if it's really going to be for the ships or for maybe their private island?

Ugh, I guess I'll be back to other cruise lines and off of Carnival.

Not a fan of the steel drums or that kind of noise. Wish they would just stick with a dj and recognizable music.

I agree 100%!!

Not a fan of the still drums or any other band by the pool. All the songs sound the same and most can't sing. On my last RCCL most people were not impressed with the live bands. I enjoy the live bands in the clubs and the ocean plaza but that's about it.
