Oasis - Where do you go for lunch first day

When on RCI we selected any landslide restaurant prior to boarding, usually the hotel. More civilised, less hubbub.

On the allure we went to park cafe on advice from my DD as she had done on the Oasis. It was just perfect we boarded early and had no trouble at all. Enjoyed it very much

Depends on when you board. If you get on early WJ is not to bad. If you board a little late, then i would go to Park Cafe.

Park Cafe is in Central Park, deck 8. Solarium Cafe is on deck 15, forward.

I agree...on first day if you get on around noonish...the WJ should be just fine...any time after 1pm...try one of the other eating options... see everyone in 2 weeks...how many are coming down to FLL for a pre-night :)

Giovanni's has a cover charge. Park Cafe is great but frankly the secret is out. If there is a line up WJ, there will be a line at Park Cafe. The line moves well and you won't wait long for your food. What I found was the issue with Park Cafe was finding a table. I think best thing is grab a snack at Promenade Cafe or a slice at Sorrento's and then wait until after the rooms open and you should have an easier time anywhere.

Giovanni's is typically open for boarding day lunch on Oasis and Allure.

Giovanni's Table is wonderful for lunch on embarkation day. There is a cover, but it is less than dinner and the food is fantastic.

Head directly to Park Cafe. Great paninis, salad bar and soups! And OHHH... The roast beef sandwich!!!

Park Café is what we did last time - it was great. After lunch we sat in Central Park, had a couple of drinks and waited for rooms to open up. Very peaceful, and it kept us from dragging out carry-ons around. This time we will do either Park Café or Solarium. I like trying new things. :)
