I love those layered drinks, back in the old days, they were brought out on trays in the dining room after dinner. I was introduced to a new one on the Star last week, the B52. You can sip it or shoot it. On the Star, it was Kahlua, Baileys and Frangelico, delish!

So enjoyed reading through all 6 pages of this thread. We sail in 2 weeks and my list of drinks to try has definitely grown by leaps and bounds! Looking for some more yummy drinks to try.....Anyone else want to chime in??

Love the Tiramisu Martini on Carnival and hoping that they have something similar on NCL. :)

Here's my updated list (started spreadsheet with some titles including ingredients in case bar staff doesn't remember how to make them)...

It would appear we're up to a 7x7 bingo card. I'm thinking I might just have to print some up for our big family cruise in August.

And because I'm so competitive, I'm hoping someone takes some photos so I can later see what we did on the cruise.

Looking forward to our cruise on the Star in Nov and we have the beverage package, so ALL these are included in the package?????????????

I can't wait to try that Rebellious Fish, sounds wonderful.

Have tried and liked:

Pain Killer

Bahama Mama

Yellow Bird

and others but if these are all included I may not remember much of our cruise,

We are not normally big drinkers but this is the time to try new things!

Omg....BINGO Booze, not THAT is a great idea!

Love this thread, it's a breath of fresh Mojito!

The Jolly Rancher shots are the BEST - still trying to figure out how to make them, the ones I have found online taste nothing like how they are made by NCL, would love their secret!!

Just back from the Sky and the cosmopolitan was really good too!!

Aw, the heck with decisions...I've got 7 days to try as many new drinks as I can! Having the UBP will allow me to enjoy libations I may not otherwise consider. Knowing that I can request a frozen cocktail in a non-frozen form makes me happy, as frozen drinks are just too filling for me. I want to try:

Bushwacker

Toasted Almond

Painkiller (which I make at home; recipe from Tortola)

I really enjoy a martini before dinner and there are just so many I'd like to try; Going Coco Nuts, French Cosmo, Snowball Colada, Espresso. YUMMM

Sailing Breakaway for Thanksgiving week!!!

Just back from the Getaway. Some favorites that we repeated were:

Mango Meltdown

Painkiller with banana rum as well as Brugal

Negroni

Raspberry Guava Mojito

Bushwacker

Kir Royale

Dirty Monkey

Dirty Banana

Sail Away Cooler martini

Also, I enjoyed the best Chocolate Martini's at Headliners! Decorated beautifully.

I would highly recommend the Toasted Almond frozen. It is like an adult milkshake. I would get one after dinner while playing in the casino.

I searched and didn't see that a favorite cocktail/drink list on NCL cruises was ever put together.

So let's start one!

I'm glad to have the UBP included as a perk on my upcoming Escape sailing so I thought that a "favorite" or "must try" cocktail/drink list would be handy by the time I board the ship. Post name of drink and ingredients (if you know them) :D

My favs so far:

* Ketel One Martini - dry vermouth and green olive (I hope they have Ketel One; if not Grey Goose is just as good)

* Manhattan - sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, cherry and orange peel garnish

* Mai Tai (classic!) - light run, dark rum, triple sec, sweet & sour, pineapple juice

AND MY FAVORITE NCL COCKTAIL (as well as my DW):

* Rebellious Fish - passionfruit liqueur, Orange vodka, Cointreau, Fresh O.J. and prosecco sparkling wine

These are really all drinks that can be gotten with the UBP?

*Living large one week at a time*

Iron Man? It looks like a weak drink. Why would anybody want to drink a shot of OJ? There must be something better to put in there?

I drank a lot of BBCs and they were great by the pool. But at night when I was looking for something with more of a kick, a Norwegian berry Collins was YUMMO!!! And there was actually some alcohol in there!

I have noticed on the list and people commenting about a drink called BBC. I am not a big drinker and am not sure what that is. Can someone please let me know?

Thanks. Also thanks for this thread!!! I have written down some new drinks to try in 63 more days!!!

I believe the BBC is Baileys, Banana Liquor and Colada. It's frozen and somewhat like a milk-shake. These are my favorites:D

It has melon liqueur, sour apple, and a splash of cranberry juice, then shaken with ice, it was my favourite too!
