Couldn't identify any employee at all....the BEST cabin attendant we ever had, I never, ever saw! Still don't know if it was a man or woman! Just like I don't remember the staff in a hotel, I don't remember the staff on a ship!

I had an assistant waiter on one of my cruises that I still stay in contact with on facebook.

 

I also had a head waitress in the MDR and Drinks waiter on my first cruise, and when we did another cruise on the same ship 6 months later, they spotted us on the first night and came to say hi to my kids.

Like she calls herself Suzy Q . She is the best. Have sailed 3 times with her. On the Brilliance, Serenade and most recently on the Anthem. We are now friends on FB, so we keep in touch regularly.

 

Love Suzy Q. Met her on the Anthem last May and she was AWESOME!

Do you know if she is still on the Anthem? Hoping to see her on our next cruise

Peter Cocheko(spelling?) on Anthem. Best server, friend now, we have had on 15cruises. Maria, our bartender in Boleros, over the top fantastic.

Jose on Liberty, best cabin steward ever, wish I could find his last name.

Abe is a great CD as is Dru but Leigh and Erky from Turkey were the best sad they are gone.

Melvin from Chops Grille on Liberty of the Seas and his wife Honey Lynn from Sabor on Liberty of the Seas, she makes the best margaritas!!! The entire wait staff of Sabor treated us like family but Melvin and his wife made our cruise extra special.

 

Best cabin steward was Findley on Liberty of the Seas Nov 2016. Guest services said he is on Allure or Oasis now

Never had bad wait staff or stateroom attendants although some maybe a little better than others.

All time favourite cruise director has to be Graham Seymour.

Can not remember his name but I hope he reads this. He went by the name Who, he always said call me Who, just like who's on first. He worked the Dazzles C@A event each night for our Allure TA. He would find us a upstairs table as we walked in, new our drink orders and had a drink at our table within a minute of walking in. Every night we were there he showed up at 8:30 with a fresh cocktail to take with us to dinner. Saw him several times throughout the ship and was one of the friendliest crew members we have ever encountered. He was one of the few crew members we ever filled out a wow card for.

Katie is on Oasis, so still on one of the big ships. Her replacement on Allure, Grant Martin, is said to be really good.

RC Genie Joy on Anthem!!!!! I know their job is to be awesome but seriously, she became family!!! From the first email before our cruise to the last message after she made this cruise a unique experience. This was my 8th cruise, 6th on RC. We got spoiled to suites on our 1st and have had amazing service but nothing can compare to the experience we had this last May/June! I'll post again with info on our cabin team because they were also the best we've ever had and we have had some amazing peeps!!

 

Joy kept us updated on every possible activity but never made us feel uncomfortable if we skipped or outright forgot. We really like to play things loose when we cruise but sometimes miss things we really wanted to do. With Joy we had the best of both worlds!! She saw us in Starbucks day 2 and the next morning (after asking permission) one of the baristas brought our favourite to our cabin.... And did so daily... but again only after Joy was assured we wanted it.

 

Keeping a reserved seat at a show, getting is in to special tours, getting us on and off the ship with ease.... these are all part of what RC promises with the Royal Genie plan. But there were so many unexpected things Joy did for us. She escorted is off the boat and to our guides for excursions, found us at dinner to be sure all was well and to take notes on what we enjoyed.... the list goes on and on. RC apparently gives them a budgeted amount to spend on a departing gift and our sweet Genie made it a point to find something that matched our likes. I assume all Genies do some amazing things for their families and we will definitely cruise with one again. But personality wise I can say I felt we got the best of the best!! Joy rocked our vaca and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!!! In fact I constantly joked about bringing her home as a personal assistant! Of course there's no way I could afford her! But you better believe I'd gladly skimp and save and delay my next cruise until I had enough money to book with her as my Genie all over again!

OH no, I hate to hear that! We were so looking forward to Katie again! I will miss her vibrant personality!

Katie was still on Oasis for the 10/1 cruise. She is fantastic but unfortunately Jeff Arpin, the cruise director, stifled her. He seems to have a really big ego. Loved it when she was with Tim Connor on Allure last year.

I don't see Jeff Arpin and Katie working well together.

From what I have seen, she and Tim work seamlessly as a team, to the extent that she followed him to his new ship! (Tim returns to Oasis on November 5.)
