Can anyone please tell me which TV channels are currently available in Princess cabins? TIA.

BBC news, Fox News, MSNBC news a couple other European/world news.

They don't have regular broadcast channels nor hbo or showtime.

They do have a selection of other cable channels, but they are not live, it's just select episodes from various shows.

A decent assortment of newer movies as well.

What I missed most was basic weather channel.

Thanks, Optotronics! So no ABC, NBC, CBS, or FOX locals are available in cabins?

Thanks everyone for your answers. I'm looking at booking my fall vacation during football season 2018 and it appears it will not be on a cruise ship this year based on lack of ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX local channels in cabins. :-) I appreciate your feedback!

If your cruise is in the Western hemisphere, you would be getting at least two live NFL games on Sunday, plus whatever is on ESPN.

Are you looking for pro or college? Most of the pro games are shown on MUTS. Of course, the early and late games on Sunday afternoon have many choice. Only one is carried at a time. So it will be something of a crap shoot to see what is shown.

That's right. Oh and CNN is available too.

I remember (no recent knowledge) that it was CNN International, not CNN. Very little USA related news. (Actually, that is true of CNN anyway as it is mostly opinions these days, not news.)

I'll be cruising on Emerald Princess for the first time in June 2023. I'm an F1 fan and would like to watch the F1 Spanish Grand Prix live while onboard, if possible. Just wondering whether anyone knows how good Princess TV live sports coverage is, and whether I'm likely to be able to watch that F1 or not. I know they provide Sports 24 on some ships but that service has a premium channel Sports 24 EXTRA which Princess might not carry. So I'd pretty much be relying on Princess having it on their "Special Events" app or having an ESPN channel. Does anyone know? TIA

I have not seen ESPN on any ship since the pandemic. There is Sports 24. During the World Cup they broadcast all of the quarter, semi and final matches. Some on the large outside screen others in the Vista lounge some at the casino bar and most in cabins

We were on the Emerald last Fall and I was amazed at the selection on the TV compared to the last time we cruised - along with a much larger TV.  There was a sports category and while I didn't pay much attention to all that they had, it seemed like they covered pretty much everything important.  I hope you're able to watch your event.  If the Emerald had a "Sports Bar" kind of place we didn't go in it - but that's another possibility if it's not on the room TV - I know we used to go watch things like the Superbowl there.

Some cruisers mention watching Netflix via the ship wifi. Has anyone ever tried connecting a Roku streaming stick to the tv and wifi?

The HDMI connection was blocked on the Enchanted last cruise, so no, they'll no longer work.

The good news is that the USB is still working... for now.

Other ships may be different.

What are the current live television stations on Princess?

Aside from one news channel for the US passengers the other remaining ones  (2 or 3) are for the European folks.
