funh2oguy Posted February 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Is onboard credit still combinable on Princess or have they taken the route of RC. I am referring to Future Cruise Certificate onboard credit and Shareholder Credit. Thanks
likeadisguise Posted February 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Yes, they still let you stack credits.
hpeabody Posted February 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2018 AFIK I know Princess allows this combination, unless it has recently changed. I typically have those as well
558 Posted February 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Future Cruise Certificate, Military and Shareholder Benefit OBCs are all combinable. On our upcoming Emerald 28-day cruise next month we have a total of $750 obc between those 3 benefits.

NavyVeteran Posted February 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2018 I have the following OBC on my next cruise (14-day): Military Benefits (Refundable): $250 Voyage Goodwill (Refundable) (Caribbean Princess speed issues): $100 ($50 per person) Voyage Goodwill (Refundable) (No OCEAN Medallion on cruise): $200 ($100 per person) Travel Agent Group Promotion (Not Refundable): $60 ($30 per person) Future Cruise Deposition (Not Refundable): $200 ($100 per person) Shareholders Benefits (Not Refundable): $250 Travel Agent (Refundable): $500 Total $1,560 (Refundable $1,050 and Not Refundable $510). All of these combine without any problems. This is one of the things I like about Princess. It is nice to get a check back after the cruise instead of a credit card charge. The only limitations I have heard about are special fares not available to the general public, such as travel agent fares or casino fares. People with these fares may not be able to take advantage of all of the OBC sources.
moki'smommy Posted February 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 19, 2018 I don't get nearly the amounts that some of the above posters do, but I'm on the "every bit counts" philosophy. And yes, it stacks. I was surprised to get an OBC from the travel agent group on my upcoming cruise. I have 2 more cruises booked that do not have this credit available (according to Princess, TA is checking with another source). This is NOT OBC from the TA or her immediate employer; it is from a TA group that the company is associated with. No idea why that is available on some cruises and not others. Or why some guests get "goodwill" credit from Princess for the Caribbean Princess issues and other do not. But I did get a nice upgrade, so I'm not complaining too much! Knickearth Posted February 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 19, 2018 We get those types of obj as well, but we also get $500. For the princess Visa card. We. Always wait for a long cruise to get it. paul929207 Posted February 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2018 I don't see the Loyalty OBC listed. That can be as much as $100 per cabin for long time cruisers.

neverbeenhere Posted February 19, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 19, 2018 21 AND OVER Watch your p's and q's. You need 21 Princess cruise credits to start to qualify.
moki'smommy Posted February 19, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Loyalty OBC? Please tell us more! At first my mind read Shareholder's Benefit, but this is something different I assume. You need LOTS of Princess cruises to get loyalty OBC. (21, I think) After the initial qualifying number, the OBC goes up after every 5 cruises. neverbeenhere Posted February 19, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 19, 2018 From your 21th cruise on you get the following. Note that the number refers to the cruise you are on, not the previous total. 21st - 31st cruise - $25 onboard cabin credit 32nd - 41st cruise - $50 onboard cabin credit 42nd - 51st cruise - $75 onboard cabin credit 52nd+ cruise - $100 onboard cabin credit Copied from another thread. Oops, I missed that since it does not show up in any pre-cruise documentation: Loyalty (Not Refundable): $50That gives a total of $1,610 for the next cruise. I'm glad most of it is refundable because I'm definitely not spending that much.

Rare geoherb Posted February 20, 2018 #18 Share Posted February 20, 2018 The loyalty credit shows up in the travel summary. I printed off that and the other page of credits from the Cruise Personalizer just in case there was any problem. We have prepaid gratuities for our current cruise on the Regal, and they also show up in the travel summary instead of the payments and credits tab. The loyalty credit does not show up until about a week before the cruise begins.

Thanks for the information. I will wait until the last week to print my travel summary to see if it's included.
GUT2407 Posted February 20, 2018 #20 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Slightly OT I know but. Next cruise I’ve got a stack of OBC, but since booking I’ve referred a few people who have cruised so have another $100 OBC in Credit that hasn’t been applied to this cruise. Anyone know if I can get I’d added. Unfortunately due to health issues, this may be my last.
moki'smommy Posted February 20, 2018 #21 Share Posted February 20, 2018 On my upcoming cruise I called Princess when referral credits didn't show up....they researched and added them. But I had made the referral before I booked the cruise. Don't know if they can apply it in your case. The printed info does say it will be applied to your cruise after the friend completes their cruise; it doesn't say it must be a new booking.
