Musings on Mariner - A slow boat from China

Could the lack of bacon be due to the fact that you are traveling through predominantly Muslim countries and swine is taboo? Or are we sticking with the gotta clear out the inventory before drydock theme . . .

Never mind, scrolled down further and found those great photos of you. Who is that behind you in the bus, (cool looking deco in the bus BTW). I know we have cruised with him before, but can't put a name to the face. You all looked like you were having a fantabulous time!! Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure! :D

As I expected... loving the banter. Love the headgear and some great shots of Dubai.

Thanks for posting!!! Sounds like you both are having a great time.

Not in Dubai until tomorrow. That was Oman. Lovely people

Can't imagine being on a ship with only turkey bacon. That is worse than no bacon at all.

We have been on Brilliance twice and Vision once out of Dubai and always plenty of bacon on board.

Afternoon tea in the Burj al Arab hotel in Dubai is a must do.

Yes, they apparently have what you call bacon now. They don’t have good ole American bacon... aka streaky bacon.

I like that English bacon. One of the food items I look for on our transatlantic cruises.

I guess it has a lot to do with the suppliers in those ports.

I wonder if ships sailing out of Southampton have black pudding?
