jdvmd Posted May 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Which dining room on the Sun hosts suite passengers for breakfast? On the Sun, it used to be Il Adagio but that has been renamed LaCucina. It is open for complimentary breakfast and lunch for suite passengers only.
Sauer-kraut Posted May 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2018 The beautiful and intimate restaurant formerly known as Il Adigio. Large windows with semi-circular raised banquettes and 4-tops on the floor EVERYONE has a view of the ocean!

Rare GeezerCouple Posted May 27, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 27, 2018 Is it possible for non suite members to get in? Nope. This is one of the perks of having a suite (and paying more for it). GC
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 27, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2018 Is it possible for non suite members to get in? I don’t remember the Sun. On the large ships with a dedicated restaurant, suites guest can bring non-suite guest in for $20ish per person per meal.

The Sun "suite breakfast/lunch" restaurant isn't at all like the *Haven* restaurants on ships that have one of those. There isn't even a Haven at all on the Sun, restaurant or not. cingroomer Posted June 12, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 12, 2018 Does that include the mini suites?
ColinIllinois Posted June 12, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 12, 2018 Does that include the mini suites? No. "Mini-Suite" has no kind of suite or haven privileges. They really should change that name.
don't-use-real-name Posted June 12, 2018 #11 Share Posted June 12, 2018 Is it possible for non suite members to get in? No - BUT! --- this is not a hard and fast rule. Chum up with the Concierge and guest privileges may be extended on a one time basis or more. Awhile back the CC Meet & Greet Roll Call coordinator was permitted daily access as a perk. On my recent Alaska cruise on the SUN the restaurant was hardly used. Therefore additional non-suite guests never posed a service or capacity issue. I would guess that the guest list on Cuba cruises this restaurant may have to be restricted to the rule of "NO". But it never hurts (well it does) to ask for an exception. And regarding that cabin class of MINI-SUITE egad I wish NCL would change that to a Deluxe Balcony Cabin ! This is not a SUITE with the full scope of suite perks privileges amenities. Albeit the mini-suite has perhaps a few more square feet of cabin space and maybe a bathtub but nothing special otherwise.
DMH15 Posted June 12, 2018 #12 Share Posted June 12, 2018 Is it possible for non suite members to get in? You can experience this lovely venue in the evening. It is a specialty (fee) Italian restaurant. Only suite/VIP for breakfast and lunch. My favorite ship, the Sun. My favorite restaurant (ambience) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
