Yes, the playoffs will be shown on the ship. A “big” Saints fan would be in New Orleans next weekend 😊

Unless you booked a cruise 9 months ago and did not know when the Saints would play. OP, your not idiots, you were planning a vacation in advance

Just off the Fascination and they had yesterdays games on but have no sports bar on the ship and only one TV near casino with the volume turned all the way down. There were random other tvs around in casino and near pizza station. Hope you are on a ship with a sports bar!

Personally I would rather go on a one week cruise, then stay at home to watch one 3 hour game. However, I have lots of friends who will not sail in the Fall or early Winter because of football. Nothing wrong with either approach, just different people with different priorities.

I could’ve told you 9 months ago the saints were probably going to be in the playoffs. I was looking at tickets to a Metallica concert last summer...it happens to be NFC championship weekend so I didn’t buy.  Cruising after the super bowl is the best bet.

As long as your DBs are the same we’re good. We beat foles in the playoffs in 2013...in philly.

Unfortunately I remember it well. The Eagles also lost to the Saints in the playoffs in the 2006 season with Jeff Garcia at QB. Off the top of my head the only time I remember the Eagles beating the Saints in the playoffs was after the 1992 season. That was the same day the Bills had their big comeback against the Oilers.

Yeah I was at the 2006 game. The ‘92 game was a disaster in the 2nd half. But that was eight years before a voodoo priestess took the post season hex off of the Superdome. We got our first playoff win that day against the rams.

Sorry to bust in here... Anyone know what the situation is on the Pride? We board on the 20th and I'm wondering how aggressive we'll have to be to stake a claim on seats at the sports bar. How big is it?

I was on the Fascination for the NBA playoffs. The TV near the cafe was the main area people would watch. The volume was not turned down. There was also TVs playing it near the AFT of Lido.

I agree though. Much better with a sports bar.

Sports bar is not that large--  but they will show it in the lounge.   Go early or you will not get a good seat

Last year we watched the Super Bowl in the Sports Bar on the Victory.  They also showed it on the big screen above the pool area.  We had no qualms booking a cruise over the date of the Super Bowl, as what were the chances the Eagles would be in it?

It was awesome to watch that game surrounded by Pats fans!

Good luck Saints, you are going to need it!

This is where we watch games so we don't get choked from cigarette smoke. The Magic sports bar is in the casino.

Should be a red frog pub on magic right? If it's anything like Breeze, that's the real sports bar.
