Green Tea Bags

As recently as last year when we were on the Coral, there were green tea bags readily available in Horizon Court.  When we were on the Ruby last month, all the other tea bags were placed out, but the green tea bags were not.  We had to ask specifically for them.  Just wondering if this is cruiseline wide, or if it is ship-specific or just cruise-specific (ours was a 5 day repositioning cruise).  Thanks

Green tea has been available in the buffet on all of our Princess cruises. Even I drink the stuff once in a while.

(So, I guess I shouldn't say all, as some of them were a number of years ago and i can't swear that we had green tea on those cruises)

We have had problems for years with green tea.   It seems to be very popular and the ship seems to run out before the cruise is over.    I think when the tea is put out  people hoard them.

It has to do with certain nationalities who prefer green tea as their drink of choice.

I second that!  (And I suspect I'm a member of such nationality 😃)

We found that the green tea would run out come evening but upon asking the waiters, they'd readily bring more out.

This reminds me, when we were on Cunard, there was a run on lemon herb tea... decided there must have been lots of folks with colds on board... LOL   Tea is easy to bring with you... it is important that is what I would do.

They keep them stored out of sight otherwise they would run out before the end of the cruise.

I’ve seen people stuffing green tea bags into their bags and pockets.

It is a problem on cruises where there are certain nationalities.

Ask staff for them and they produce them out of a hiding place.

Easier to just bring your own.

Mrs Gut has always found it, but now days just takes her own. (She prefers ginger and hasn’t found it on any ship so far).

I already have 3 boxes of Aldi Lemon & Ginger packed (40 per box) ..... 37 night cruise ....... plus days before and after

sorted!!   😎

I always grab a few extra as you never know if & when they'll run out.

We once were on a 10 day trip & 1/2 way through the supply was depleted. :classic_sad:
