Pre and Post stay in Orlando

We need a hotel with airport transportation for the night before our cruise.  We do not fly into MCO until midnight.  We then fly home at 6am the day following the cruise.  We are looking for something with a nice pool and restaurants nearby.  We are traveling with our granddaughters.  Thank You.

When we're in Orlando we normally stay at the Embassy Suites on I-Dr. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. I am not sure if they have transportation, we always Uber everywhere. Getting an Uber from there to MCO even at 3am is less than a 5 minute wait.

There is a hotel complex just north of MCO, about a mile. Google MCO then scroll just north and you will see the hotels.  At least a half dozen hotels and restaurants within walking distance. You would have to check with the hotel to see if they provide a shuttle service that late. The other option is heading right out to the port. About a mile south of PC in Cocoa Beach there are a couple of hotels.

I would put your "need" for airport transportation on the back burner. As with anything "free" you might be paying more in the end, while not getting the hotel experience you want. An Uber may be just as cost effective, or even more. All while working on your schedule. Best to do your own research of what interests you and bottom line price vs the opinion of 2-3 random people.

There's  HUGE hotel zone just north of MCO.  Any brand you could ever want.  Perfect for before/after.  Arrange your private shuttle from there and back to the port.

That complex includes everything from an Embassy Suites to various Marriott brands, Ramada, etc. as well as lots of nearby chain dining options - almost all will offer hotel shuttles, but not sure about after midnight (Taxi or Uber will be cheap). Dates and budget from the OP would help the suggestions to be closer to their target.

We've landed late and left early.  Right after Maria took out Puerto Rico we did a 5 hour hotel 'layover' at MCO on our way to SJU when there were few hotels to be had on the island.  It was tough for lack of sleep but it honestly couldn't have been more convenient.  The MCO hotel zone might literally be the best cruiseport launch point in the country.
