StrawberryHill Posted August 11, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2020 We are booked on the June 2021 cruise - for the third year in a row. We bumped the 2019 cruise to 2020 and current events cancelled the 2020 cruise. Maybe three times is a charm ?

Thrak Posted August 11, 2020 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2020 Either Boone's Farm or Annie Green Springs. Can't remember which it was. My wife's younger brother asked her to buy him a bottle and a can of 7 UP. She jokingly asked him, "Only one can of 7 UP" and he, in all seriousness, replied, "Yeah, we like our drinks kind of strong". I had to give my wife credit for not totally laughing out loud. Ahhhhhh... Youth. 1

Roll Call is fairly active. Tom
satxdiver Posted August 11, 2020 #9 Share Posted August 11, 2020 First it the OP meets the Midnight Son, take his picture so that we can see what he looks like 🤣 We did the cruse to the Midnight Sun in June last year. We saw the sun for three full days. It was a great cruise. We went to the northern most point in Norway which was a bit cold so go prepared. One port we visited the church of the rock - a church built into a large rock.

IIRC, Strawberry Hill is (or was) a diner on US Highway 99 in the central valley of California. We stopped there 30 years ago for breakfast and I got in so much trouble by not buying a trinket set of "When Pigs Fly" earrings desired by Mrs. Berfle. This has turned into a many decades quest for pigs with wings mementos...
