Where in the world ?

Here's one that should be a challenge but hopefully not extremely difficult. This is a replacement port for one on our original itinerary that was canceled. As far as I know this is the only time any of the current Cunard Queens have called at this port. I've never seen it listed in any Cunard itinerary.

First, here's the ship in port.

Of course that reveals very little, so here's a photo from the city itself which should help provide a general idea of the region.

Next is a natural attraction on the outskirts of the city.

One final hint is that this port is a large city with a population of over a million and other cruise lines call at this port. Happy hunting!

This is more of a name the other ships rather than a Where in the World but try both ...

I'll start by identifying the ship on the left as the Norwegian Epic. We've sailed on that ship and I'd recognize that ugly face anywhere.

Could it be Antalya?

Excellent! That didn't take long at all. As with the Valletta, Malta photo I posted earlier, Antalya, Turkey was a replacement port during our November 2012 "Holy Land Explorer" cruise when the calls at Israel and Egypt were canceled.

You're right, it is. All we need now is the name of the ship I was on ....

I'm going with Queen Elizabeth. That looks like the arch at the entrance to the bowls court on deck 11. I don't think that feature exists on Queen Victoria.
