I was convinced that by the time we wake up here on the west coast somebody would have figured it out.

I could give some hints but I should leave it up to JP to reveal the next hint.

Roosevelt Island then?

Got it!

As Renmar and dogs4fun have said, this is the old, abandoned, smallpox hospital on Roosevelt Island. What a cool location this island is!

Just a short cable car ride away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Your standard subway fare works for the cable car.

There is a nice park here (Four Freedoms Park) with a monument to FDR, and beautiful views of Manhattan Island.

Chris and I visited here in February 2019 with our Australian friend who was visiting NYC. It was a lot of fun - my first time there.

And the building was designed by Renwick. Google his name and be prepared to be amazed by the list of buildings he designed. You will probably recognize a few. Now I know why this building is so beautiful.

Over to you, @CPT Trips

I was trying to think of Princess Cruises ports where you would have a turnaround day on. Got the wrong continent.

It’s a clipper race - I have no idea which one (will leave that to the boating experts). However, they are all starting (or ending) at St. Katherine docks, London.

And that’s a winning answer with the honor of posting the next photo.
It was the start of a round the world race.

Got it in one dogs4fun, note to self must try harder, although not taken from there if you look very carefully to the left of the yacht are the ruins of Urquhart Castle we’re on board our hire boat having just passed the hotel boat. We had a week on the Caledonian on our way out the loch was really choppy and trying to cook breakfast on the move was all-nigh impossible with my friend shouting at the lads ‘will you keep this boat still impossible.
So your turn dogs4fun!
