I've inquired a couple times and "no" has been the answer each time. The good thing for us is we have five cruises planned before March 31st, starting next week, to continue our Prime status into 2023...

I doubt it is going to be extended, and really I do not think it should be. I think Prime is ridiculously easy to obtain, and comes with nice benefits. I'm hoping to earn enough points to keep Signature after March 31.

I asked one of the casino hosts on Freedom and he said not that he was aware of, no extension.

Considering I tried to book a cruise April 10 2022 and use one of my 2 prime certs and was denied......I"m going with no.

They allowed me to use mine for a May 2022 sailing, but I scheduled it months ago.

For all the comped cruises that people have booked over the next year or so from former and current offers, I don't think they are inclined to extend offers any further until casino revenue picks up.

I find that frustrating beyond belief at this point...I have my 2020 and my 2021 prime cruise that i couldn't take because of covid and was told "This is past the March 2022 cut off so you can't use the prime cert CLEARLY.

 

I had scheduled it also 3-4 months ago now on Rhapsody which was cancelled on me and I  just reschedule last week now and was told the same thing.  I ended up burning a free jr suite comp as trade in to decrease the cost but it would not have saved me as much as prime upgrade to my room category

I have been told 'no extension' in the plans as well.  That being said, if the current protocols remain in place (i.e. masks and addt'l hoops), I wouldn't be surprised to see casino offers for quite some time....can't see them even keeping current capacity levels w/o doing something drastic/free.

The 'next cruise' desk may be the best place to allow for social distancing if they're forced to keep these protocols.

Celebrity recently added 12 months and extended the term to collect Blue Chip points to Dec 2023, and they are part of the same company as RCL, so … maybe?? We will not know until March though.
