There is a devil game in the casino.  I think tonight is my night to give it a shot 😂

Those Devil Hot, Hot, Hot machines are contagious.  Be sure to look for the machine with the coins mostly full as that is the random jackpot feature for that machine.  Good luck.

The machines in that casino that did well where right at the main entry.  I forget the name but they were a bank of 3 or 4 machines that had the feature that would make the tiger appear for the bonus.  My wife and I watched 3 hand payouts for those machines 2 for 14,000.00+ and one for 11,000.00 plus and another for 3,500.00 plus.  Three out of the four wins was the same guy.  He lived at them all week.  Go hit a big one!!  Obviously he was betting max.

I'm curious what cabin you were in before your move as we will be on the 23rd & 30th sailing and our cabin is adjacent to Vintages area.

Thanks.

We were in 8695 which is the first Boardwalk balcony cabin on Deck 8.  If your cabin is near vintages, that is on Central Park so you won't be hearing the Carousel etc.  I did find out today that apparently there is a real owl stowing away in central park at the moment!

Congrats.  Those corner front rooms look really large and neat shaped. Have eyed them myself.

Would love to hear how you find it, and how it is with respect to movement.

We had one on Odyssey i August on Deck 10 but on the other side.  It was awesome.  I posted some pics at the time.  We are looking forward to it!

I little while ago they made an announcement over the speakers that requested 2 names return to their cabin immediately and then dial a number.  I am assuming it is likely covid related and they must have been a close contact with a positive case?  If they had already been tested, I think they would have been quarantined.

Hopefully we do not hear alot of these announcements for those of us that are B2B and S2S and have to get tested in the AM...

I think it has gone the way of the Dodo bird.  The menu on the app says the soup is now Creamy Butternut Squash soup.  😞

I am going to be a weirdo and not get steak at Chops. When we had the UDP on the Odyssey in August, I wanted to order the Organic Roasted Chicken but the waiter talked me out of it saying I would be waiting forever.  I am ordering it tonight no matter what they tell me lol

Take the Chicken off the menu pronto! I would not order it.

Dinner at Chops was very good.  I am not sure what the waiter we had on Odyssey was talking about, but the chicken was not that big, came out at a reasonable time and I have no idea why he was saying it would have taken forever.

Hubby was very disappointed that not only could we not get mushroom soup, but mushrooms was not an available side either!  The waiter said there was a mushroom shortage.  Who knew!!044377AC-D9ED-45E0-93AB-3BB35FD0D6D5.thumb.jpeg.0ab5ec095b193771543d64ae5429d1bc.jpeg

I had the squash soup to start.  It was very good.  I would have preferred the mushroom, but it was a nice alternatice

and we had the pepper bacon to share.  I still do not understand why they call it bacon, but it is yummy no matter what they call it…

Lunch on Day 6 was Port Side BBQ again.  I had the ribs and burnt ends with Beans & Mac and cheese.  Paul had the ribs and sausage with no sides. The sausage and ribs were great!  They also have some cute & well priced merch. I meant to do back and grab a T-shirt for my son, but I forgot!

Dinner on Day 6 was Giovanni’s.  I had thr minestrone soup, arugula salad and pasta of the day W which was rigatoni with Alfredo.  Paul had the tuna, the mozzarella and tomato salad and the osso buca salad.  I started feeling bad about an hour and a half or so after dinner so I am pretty sure I had food poisoning of some kind.  Something did taste a little off but could not place it.  Paul was 100% fine.  I do not think I will be back to Giovanni’s table. 😂9FCAF690-A58B-4537-9831-DDFB6C616E29.thumb.jpeg.4f529d571cb567cc9ee0dd6626bc0d3b.jpeg

On evening 6 we had still not received our shuttle information.  We went to guest services and they printed us out a letter.  We had to meet outside the terminal at 9:30.  They did not really provide a lot of details.

Paul and I both got just over 800 pts in the casino.  This got us $200 off any cruise in the next 12 months or a complimentary interior on a select list of sailings through June.  With the way things are going, we think we might take the B2B we currently have booked on Anthem in March and move it to Oasis in June.361291C2-2FC6-4615-B614-6B20462CBC04.thumb.jpeg.3c43c6b18157ee5c8f0b65c162024e34.jpeg

Shuttle to Port Everglades

We were told to meet in front of terminal at 9:30.  As I mentioned before we were not given any details about exactly where.  I am not a breakfast person so I set my alarm for 8:45 to give me time to shower, fully expecting to first be woken up aggressively by the constant announcements calling tag numbers.  For some reason we could not really hear the announcements in our room however.  It is funny that we had the exact opposite problem in our original cabin. We also never could get the TV to work in the new cabin so could not watch it for tag #s.  We did not not complain about the TV earlier because we only have it on Red Bull TV when we are getting ready at night.

We exited the ship  at 9:10 or so and walked right off and through customs with no line.  There was no need to show passport as they did facial recognition.

When we exited the terminal there was no signs that we could see about where to go to catch our shuttle so we had to ask a few different people.  It was a large white bus that turns out was also the shuttle to Fort Lauderdale airport. We were seated in the first row behind the driver.  We left our terminal at 10:02 but had to stop at another terminal to get a couple passengers from the Jewel.  We left the Jewel at 10:11 and got to the first drop off at FLL at 10:47.  There was a stop at a 2nd terminal and we left the airport at 10:55.  We got to the cruise terminal at 11:09 and walked right in.  We  had our health screening and we’re checked in by 11:13.  We went upstairs to wait to board but it was not long.  They started boarding suites and Keys at 11:35 and we were boarding just a few minutes later.

As I mentioned above, there was a person right behind us who coughed the entire ride and remained maskless which was incredibly rude.  The driver was also maskless before we started driving.  He was also coughing and wiping his brow and did not sound great.

Here is a photo I took when we boarded to show the size of the crowd. I also changed to an N95 shortly thereafter.

I managed to somehow lose both my earrings when I changed masks.  Luckily I was able to find them when we stopped at the airport.

Oh no, hope you stay well! Jessy, if you have the time, please tell us where we need to go once on Odyssey to schedule our shows, so we can adjust our dining times. Thanks in advance!

Mitch is the cruise director and he made an announcement to call a number to book but I missed it.  I will try to grab it.  He did say the best way was to use the app.
