Does anyone know if you can get a Jamaican Paradise on NCL?  It was my recent go to drink this past T-Day on the MSC Seashore... As nice to look at as it was to drink.

I wouldn't be afraid to ask!!! If they aren't familiar with the drink, but you have a printed version of it, they might be willing to make it for you.

Is this (approximately) the right drink?

1 12  ounces rum

1/2 ounce tequila - gold

1ounce melon liqueur

1ounce blue curacao

ounces sour mix

Ice

That sounds about right...

If it is something you love, ask for it!  If it seems a bit off for your tastes, ask for it again with more (or less) of this or that.  And, show your appreciation!!! 😉

By the way, I only do these kinds of requests directly at the bar, and only if there are very few (or no other) customers/servers waiting.

On one cruise, our waiter was referring to us as Mr and Mrs Worldwide...  😉

On my very first NCL cruise, after discovering my love of the Mr. Worldwide, the bartender at the casino bar would yell "Mr. Worldwide" every time he saw me, even when I wasn't ordering a drink!

Rebellious Fish for sure by the pool all day (if they make it correctly 🤣)

Espresso martini on the rocks at the Atrium Bar (or any bar with an espresso machine)…make sure they splash Frangelico or Godiva

And if you don’t want to remember a night out…ask for a Tokyo Tea. You’re welcome 🤪

Wait… what?!?!?!?!?

nooooooooo!!!!!  It’s always been my first drink.

It has always been my traditional first drink also but the bar that it is being made does make a difference.  I have always had success at the Atrium Bar and the one at the Observation Lounge. Keep trying until you succeed with the right bartender.

Maybe I don't want to know... but what's in a Tokyo Tea?

It’s basically a Long Island, but sub Midori for the coke. Makes it taste like juice despite it being mostly liquor 🤣

And for the record…I was given this originally by an NCL bartender on the Getaway when I told them to “just make me something” once. I don’t regret it 🙃

I like Glacier Blue as well! Also, this isn't a drink I saw a lot of people order, but I love the Botanical Spritz  that is made with that Grapefruit Rose Infused Vodka. It's basically just vodka soda but I found it very refreshing after so many syrupy drinks.

I loved that Grapefruit Rose Vodka, once I discovered it I had it ever night as a pre dinner cocktail. Glacier Blue was very good, and loved the Raspberry Guava Mojito as well. Another fave was the Thai Rum tonic at food republic, I had several with dinner there and they are huge.

On the Breakaway a few years ago I enjoyed the Lavender patch a lot, but I couldn’t get it when I tried in September on the Encore.

whenever I run out of the vodka I have at home, I'm getting the grapefruit rose vodka (I think it's Ketel One) Idk why it was so good as it's not enough a top shelf vodka, but I enjoyed it a lot

Rebellious fish is lovely (I hope it's as good as I remember after 3 years!). I sometimes do the Mango Meltdown, but sub vodka for the Oakheart Rum. On the Escape they made me frozen mojitos with half the simple syrup, but not on the Gem.

There was also a Lavender martini at Shakers that was nice.
